Welcome to Avaleur, a medieval fantasy roleplay site where anything is a possibility. Face bandits, or knights. Work your way up to become part of Avaleur's castle, or try your luck at being a thief. Own a shop, be a guild master, start a family. The possibilities are endless.
Xavier chuckled, but deep behind that chuckle, he could not hold back his thoughts... Would a litter be so horrible? A small band of children to raise and become master Theives working for the betterment of society. A small army of assassins... He shook the thoughts away.
"Ah, yes, let's hope for my sake it is good hmm?" He smiles as he grabs a bowl and pours in some of the chicken wild rice. "Here you are." He hands Dani some before gettin his own.

Danielle took the bowl, thinking in her head. Then, before beginning to eat, she asked, "So, when do you figure we should go see my parents?" Once some of the food was in her mouth, however, she grinned, swallowed it down and quickly added, "You've gotten a lot better, I like it. I'm pleasantly surprised!"
His face goes a little pale, "Uh well I mean whenever you want we can go i suppose." He smiled reasurringly, but the grin changed to a really smile of joy as she mentioned his cooking. In truth, he used to be a good cook, back not too long ago, he had to fend for himself off in harsh living conditions such as the bandit camp or the sewers. The soup he used to make was very good, the soup he had Stacy had had that one night. But since then, lack of practice wiped his skills clean. Gone, but he could feel them coming back little by little.

She continued to eat the soup as she thought. When would they go see her parents? She hadn't seen them in quite some time, so they would be happy to see her. She wondered how they were doing, how they would react to Dosise. And, how they would react to her pregnancy.
Danielle swallowed the soup, before shrugging.
"I mean, I have no problem leaving whenever. At least within this week, I'd say. I'd rather not wait too long on this- I'm freaked out enough," she chuckled with a bit of embarrassment. The soup eased her nerves much more, and Xavier had been able to calm her down.
Now it was just a matter of seeing how things would be in the next little while.
Xavier, finally began eating the soup himself. It did taste rather delicious, no he had a standard to make sure to try and not go below because now he wouldn't have any sort of excuse.
"I am not choosing, they are your parents, you can decide when we leave." To be honest, Xavier didn't know how to treat parents, he had never like his, and never really saw them as parents anyway. Why Dani even wanted to see them, he didn't quite understand.

Danielle pursed her lips as she thought. It seemed too late in the day to go now- they would make it to Littlebay near bedtime. Plus, both of them had work. "The most practical time would probably be Saturday," Danielle stated, with a shrug once more, and a sheepish smile. "That way we're not working...well, I'm not working. I mean, if you don't want to go, Xavier, that's fine. I mean, really I'm the only one that needs to go. All I'll be doing is asking a few questions, maybe have lunch with them, and coming back," Dani offered.
Her lover seemed somewhat reluctant to go- of course, that was sort of expected. He had no idea what they were like. And besides, she didn't think she would mind going alone. After all, it was only for some questions. Probably a little catching up.
Xavier shook his head, was not going tempting? Hell yes, but he figured not going was one of those things that you weren't supposed to do. "No, no, it is fine, Saturday sounds like a fine time to go and see your parents." He smiled. Xavier did wonder exactly how all of this would be, he hoped it wouldn't be too awkward, but either way, he would have to try... kill em with kindness Xavier...
"I want to go, we are in this together aren't we." He said with a smirk.

(( lol you're going to love her parents...I don't know if Xavier will, but you definitely will LOL ))
Danielle stared at him for a moment, before grinning, then laughing. "I suppose we are," she stated, taking another gulp of soup.
"So how do you figure the people in the guild will react? And do you figure they'll mind my absence?" she asked out of curiosity, eating as she stared at Xavier.
((yeah, well Xavier doesn't love very many things anyway XD))
"Well I don't want you absent, feel free to hang around the Temple if you wish, you just won't be going on any tasks or anything quite like that." He shrugged thinking it over, no one would have a problem... except for maybe one. "You will be fine, I don't think any of them will expect anything odd, if they ask I suppose you will have to tell them who the father is, Xavier, a Knight of Avaleur... it may give you favor, being that close to a knight, or I suppose it could work against you too. Perhaps you should partake in a don't ask don't tell sort of explanation."

Danielle thought, before nodding. "I'd hate to lie to any of them, so I would probably say whom it was if they asked. But I won't talk about any of it unless someone asks about it," she responded, thinking. She figured that people knew about them anyways- they lived together, after all. But the guild? She didn't know if any of them would know. They were real people too- it wasn't like they all just hung around and did nothing.
She sighed, leaning back in her chair as she continued to eat, thinking.
"I hope everything goes well. I really do," she spoke absentmindedly, as she shoved some of the soup into her mouth.
As Xavier mentioned being a Knight of Avaleur, it became apparent to him that he should probably show his face around other Knights soon. He had been absent for quite some time.
"The most important thing you can do is relax." He smiled before eating the rest of his bow of soup. "Just tell me when we are leaving to see your parents and we will go.." A baby... What exactly would he need? A crib, small clothes, what else? Should they get married now? He supposed sometime soon.

The girl nodded, thinking of her parents. Surely, they would be happy to see their child again.
"I'm sorry if this has stressed you out at all, Xavier. But it's not like I was going to ignore it, or not tell you," she smiled sheepishly, with a shrug. Her bowl was finished as well, and she got up and lightly took Xaviers from him, making her way to the kitchen.
"Please, it was really only slightly stressing, I have dealt with much worse." And he supposed he had, he supposed at first he was lying to make her feel better but Stacy's sickness was very stressing. "Thank you." He said as she took his bowl from him.
Xavier for up and made sure the fee was dwindling, he didn't want it burning the house down when they were in bed. Once that was finished he followed Dani over to the kitchen, put his arms around her waist and plopped a kiss onto her cheek from the side.

The bowls were nearly clean, and she was happily surprised as Dosise kissed her on the cheek. She leaned back closer to him, with a slight smile on her face, her cheeks warm with a bit of pink on them.
She placed the bowl on the counter as she turned around with one eyebrow raised, wrapping her arms around Xavier's neck. "Thank you. Really. I'm a lot more calm now. Granted, as soon as mother explains what will happen, I will probably be freaked out once more, but until them I think I'll be okay." She gave him a quick peck on the lips, pulling away with a grin.
"Good." He smiled back and was ready for a big kiss but she got him! As she pulled away, his eyes were still closed, but he soon realized what had happened and he opened them with a smile.
"Ready to go to bed then? I suppose you are probably tired."

She chuckled, as she turned around once more. "Are you kidding? Of course I'm ready for bed! All that stress wears you out, you know. I'm beat." The neko girl quickly put the dishes away as she spoke, realizing at that moment just how tired she really was- that day had been a long day. Once the dishes were away, she looked at Dosise with a quick smile.
"If you're not tired yet you can stay up...but I should go to bed. Staying up late then going to bed early isn't the greatest combination."
"No, no I don't doubt you are beat." He chuckled, he could see it in her eyes. Ever since she got home really, he could see that it had been a long day.
"I think I will join you, there really isn't a reason for me to stay up tonight. I already finished all of my work." He smiled as he began to lead the way to the bedroom.

She followed the man as they entered the bedroom. Dani couldn't help but feel a sudden love for the bed- at that moment it seemed like the most fantastic thing in the world, the best place to sleep on. "I might have to start cutting down my hours at the pub while I'm like this, if I always get this tired," she grinned. It was doubtful in her mind, since her being tired was probably mostly caused by stress, but she would know soon if that was the case.
She sat down on the side of the bed as she yawned, falling back as her feet touched the ground and her back was on the bed. "Have I ever told you how fantastic this bed is? Because it is. Really," she laughed a little bit with comfort.
Watching Dani have something of an intimate relationship with the bed was indeed quite humorous, Xavier could do nothing but chuckle a little bit as he undressed himself from everything except for his undergarments and got into bed.
"Well thank you, it took some time, but I did find a great bed." He didn't think it was fantastic, but there were a lot worse out there. "If you need to cut back on hours that well be fine, don't worry, we aren't in any sort of financial strain." He reassured her.

She pondered this for a moment, before nodding- then grinned. "We might be if it turns out that my kind have litters," she half-jokingly stated, taking off a few layers of clothes before sliding into bed with Xavier. Within just a moment she had snuggled up close to him.
Dani yawned, before saying, "I really hope that everything turns out right."
