"I like it. I've lived there all my life and despite it's condition, it's a nice place. Granted, cold weather is a pain but it's manageable with the right people in the house." Toracrio said.

Namari smiled with a hint of relief, not bothering to say anything. Now those were the words she liked to hear.
The two entered the courtyard, and as she suspected young squires and pages fought in the center with wooden swords. Some against dummies, others against each other. Namari herself had never learned in a large group, but she hoped herself that it was beneficial to the young knights.
"These are the practice grounds," she stated, walking along the stone path that circled the yard. "It's where people come to practice their fighting. Get a few tips and whatnot. The large man in the center is Dawn; he's one of our oldest, and best guards. In charge of the young ones."
She pointed to the burly man, who was solely focused on yelling at the kids orders and instructions. Namari had to smirk; he could be a hard teacher.
"Right up there is where we're headed," she pointed to a tower that could be seen from where they stood; not too tall, but hefty looking. "The council chambers. There's not much between there and here, but you'll get a good glimpse of the castle areas."

Toracrio was curious, his gaze was wandering but he was still paying attention to the Queen. turning his gaze to what she pointed out. He looked at the man that the Queen pointed out.
"It's a hard task to become a knight, he's most likely trying to help them get there right." Toracrio said.
He knew nothing of being a knight. He was just a citizen. Turning his gaze to the tower, he raised a hand to block some sunlight from getting in his eyes. Making most of the sunlight reflect off of the bracelet.

"Aye, I'll agree to that," Namari smirked; but it wasn't all true. She remembered a time, at the beginning, when all you needed was a vote to become a knight. At the very beginning, when it was all starting out. Who had voted her? She could not remember.
But she did remember becoming a knight to be easy. Gaining the trust and respect from the city? Much more difficult.
They passed throuh more doors, back inside.to their right, giant glass windows could be seen into a library. "This is Avaleurs library, as you might know. Open to the public of course," the Queen jestured to it, looking in herself. She could see a few familiar faces.
"Have any questions for me yet, by the way?" Namari asked, her head turningto stare at theman walking beside her.

Toracrio followed, allowing his gaze to wander but kept in mind where he was at. True, this was all new to him and he wanted to explore. However, he needed to get a idea of things first.
"None yet." Toracrio responded.
So far he really didn't have any questions. He was taken by surprised by the library, he actually didn't know it was open to the public.

Namari nodded; it was probably slightly overwhelming. Surely he would have questions later. But the Queen guessed she would not be hearing any of these questions soon. "That's alright. Ask away if you think of anything."
They passed the library windows soon, and turned a corner, hitting a spiral staircase. Namari began working her way up the stairs, turning her head to see Toracrio. "This is how you get to the council chambers," she explained, looking up at the tall staircase above them.
"So do you have a job, Toracrio?" she asked in curiosity, as they were nearing the end of their tour.

Toracrio nodded. He'd ask once he figured out something, though something did finally come to mind when she showed him the stairs.
"When's the next meeting?" Toracrio asked, though he was surprised that he did.
Once they were coming to a end of the tour, Toracrio was a bit more convinced he wasn't dreaming. It still felt like it. Though, her question made him feel uneasy. He didn't have one so he didn't know what kind of effect that would have on the Queen.
"I...I don't have one." Toracrio responded. "I've been a bit busy at home.."

"The next meeting is a week today; around lunchtime. I'll send for you before hand, so that you're not late. Hopefully everything is a good fit," she smiled. "And I'm glad I would not be taking you away from another job you might have. And I hope this doesn't take away from your home work that you have."
Finally they reached the top; Namari quickly swung open the door and walked in, stepping aside so that Toracrio could come in. There was an oval shaped table with candlesticks in the center, chairs circling it. Windows were all around, letting in the natural light of day. Bookcases with scrolls and journals were set on each side of the door that they stood at.
"And here it is," she stated, "It's not much, but it's good enough to discuss matters of the Kingdom I suppose."

Satisfied, the Queen nodded as she looked over to Toracrio. "Thats about it then; I do have some business to attend to, but you are more than welcome to explore the castle grounds a bit." She hated to leave the man to himself, but there was much work to be done. Especially for the few days to come.
The Queen hoped to make it to the next meeting.
Withiut hesitation, she made her way back to the stairs. Quickky she smiled at her new councio member, waving, before making her was down the stairs. Off to do work.
