"Noklie, you live out in the woods... Alone. And you told me to not judge you by your appearances. I may not be an expert but I can guess that you're not "normal." At least that's what you say." He says as his voice lifts again. "I train birds, my cousin taught a lion to talk, Steele is a werewolf knight, Walter a demon knight." Raymond shrugged, "they help people and get help and let's face it they're strange." He chuckled as he thought of how odd the bunch really was. "I'll help you under most circumstances..."

"Do you honestly mean it or are they just words?" Noklie asked as he took a few steps away. "Let's see what you think."
Removing the cloak,he dropped it on the ground. Almost immediately, he transformed into a wolf. Standing there, the wolf sat down and turned it's gaze to Raymond. It wasn't going to do anything, just sit there.
Tafida flew away while Raymond stared. He grew anxious. Wings? A dragon? A giant land octopus?!!!! No... A werewolf. Raymond didn't feel threatened. His arrows were silver tipped after all. Although disappointed Noklie hadn't turned into a giant air breathing octopus, he had never whitnessed a change willfully and not on a full moon. Sure he knew it happened, but he had never been around it.
"Cool..." He states as he stared. "Do you like bare skin of fur better? Do you still see in color? Do you ever uh... Eat your um..." Raymond had several questions. Steele and Leon and the others never let him ask these questions!

Okay. The wolf had expected something different. Sticking it's head into the opening of the cloak. The wolf turned back into Noklie and stood up straight.
"It's warmer with the fur, I prefer it on cold nights." Noklie answered. "Everything looks the same...unless certain emotions run high."
Noklie couldn't help but raise and eyebrow confused to the last one that wasn't finished.
"I don't want to know what that last one was." Noklie said.
"Woah... That is so cool!" Raymond fist pumps the air. "So when you shed and you shift back to normal, what happens to your hair? And can't you talk as a werewolf? And do you sometimes think you have a tail while your in your human form?" Again he bombarded Noklie with questions. Raymond was just a curious lad.
"Alright." Raymond's face beamed. "You showed me a secret. I suppose it is only fair I show you one then."
He took a few steps back as well and tilted his head and neck into the air. His arms outstretched and he gave out a screeching shrill of a call into the air. He stopped and stranded into a normal position with a huge grin on his face. All was quiet for what seemed like a few seconds. Then there was an answer. It sounded like some sort of hawk in the distance. "Do you want to fly?" Raymond asked his voice not hiding any of his excitement at all.
From through the trees a large hawk burst through and landed to the side of Raymond. It was much larger than him. Large enough to allow two passengers
Raymond walked over and began to per Iolani. "Isn't she a beauty? Her name is Iolani. She's a Gigas Hawk." Raymond explained. The bird trainer pulled out a treat and feed it to her. He had been training her for about a week now. Only fallen off twice.
Raymond turned and frowned. He could see it all over Noklie, was it fear? He wasn't sure but he could sense he was off about it. Did he know he had almost fallen to his death on her before? That would be unsettling.
"Hey, you know if you don't want to fly I want make you." he smiles, it is more of a smirk, "We are scared of something, some people just more than others."

"Never thought about it before. Not sure if I should." Noklie answered as he stood there. "I wouldn't say scared, I just don't know if I should. If I was suppose to fly, I would have a pair of wings bursting out of my back instead of turning into a brown mass of fur called a wolf."
"...yeah." Raymond said as he raised a suspicious eyebrow. This kid really didn't act like much of one. It confused him. Was he older than he thought? Did it have something to do with his species of humanoid? Roland was the expert on that. Raymond only knew his way around vast amounts of non and magical creatures and animals.
"Well if you don't want to then..." He wasn't sure what to do or where to go. Mollie just sort of seemed like a talking statue at the moment. "Are you hungry?" He asked.

The reason for Noklie's behavior was he never really got to act like a child. It was always learning to hunt or to track. Staying close to his mother and then when he got out on his own, only one thing changed. Don't stay close to mother, she left him, cast him aside. She left their old home and he knew this due to finding his way back to it and looking for her, her scent was old by time he got there and not worth trying to track.
He wasn't sure if he wanted to fly. It was a hard thing to decided for him, he always lived on the ground, taught to live like that. He was glad that the subject changed to something else.
Raymond nodded and then stretched his back and shoulders before taking his bow from his back and grabbing an arrow. "Well then why don't we catch us some grub then? I have to feed Iolani here soon and now is as good of a time as any." Of course the giant predator probably would have already caught itself a meal by now, Raymond was just looking for something. Anything! This kid seemed real sad. All alone, real shut off from people. He wanted to see him smile at least! Maybe doing something he liked would do it.

Noklie didn't really like hunting, it was a means to survive and that was how he treated it. With respect and understanding. Without a word, Noklie looked around for a few moments and headed off just as quietly as he had when he snuck up on Raymond before speaking.

Noklie paused, he wasn't too far but he was bent down. Raising a hand so Raymond could see it, he made a gesture for the boy to follow. Noklie had thought that it was obvious what he was going to do since Raymond suggested they hunt.
Raymond spoke to Iolani and gave a few symbolic gestures before the bird flew off. The young hunter then began to follow the boy quietly... sure was a strange kid.
