He was surprised, but gently embraced her in a hug. Walter went a bit red with embarrassment, however. The man was rarely hugged. After all who would hug him? Most of his friends were 'macho' knights who wouldn't give another man a handshake. Let alone a hug. And Namari was the Queen; highly unprofessional.
Simon was probably wimpy enough for hugs, but they hated each other. Would probably try to stab each other in the backs as it happened.
"No problem," he responded, before pulling away, a smile on his face. Perhaps he would make a new friend after all. "Alright, get fixed up soon. And hopefully we'll see each other sometime soon."
He was grateful, now in two ways, that Elle had shown up. Number one she saved him. But he also was one step closer to a new friend.
And if Aerin and Namari were going to be hanging out so much, Elle and Walter might as well get along.

Elle beamed up at Walter and nodded. Yes, see each other soon, she would like that. She liked the idea of making a new friend. Elle liked having friends, after all.
“Sure,” she said, stepping away from Walter. “I’m sure we will. See you around soon, Walter.” She gave a bit of a wave before turning to walk in a slight zigzagging path into the infirmary to have her arm looked at.

Walter smirked, folding his arms across his chest as she zig-zagged to the entrance. Quite the amusing sight to behold. Once she was inside, Walter extended his wings once more.
With a few beats of his wings he was in the air, flying back to the castle.
