Namari stared at the graves as she walked by them, reading the names in her head. One caught her attention, the one she had been looking for, and she frowned. Walking up to it, she placed a small rose on it and bowed. Dante's grave was just as she remembered it when she had gone to the funeral of everyone who had died in the massacre. She had never thought to go back until now.
She realized she felt a bit bad for treating him terribly. He wasn't that bad of a kid, after all. She chuckled. It's never too late to pay your respects, she thought.

Phillis had been nervously approaching the graveyard. He hadn't visited Dantes grave since the day after his burial. He didn't know if he could handle it.
He took a deep breath in, fixing his hair and patting his clothing down before walking into the graveyard. Alright, I can do this.
He immediately noticed Namari and became even more nervous. Oh no, I haven't seen her since the meeting.. Calm down.
"H-Hey." Phillis nodded as he stood infront of the grave, looking at Namari.

Phillis could sense the woman being uncomfortable with his presence. He didn't know what to say. He wasn't good with apologies or small talk, after all.
"I didn't think I'd see you here.. You know, at his grave."

Namari frowned, and cleared out her throat. "No, you probably wouldnt." she said firmly. "I came here more or less because I felt he did not deserve the way I treated him."

"I suppose." Namari refused to look back at the boy. She was still frustrated at him for taking part in the argument at the town meeting. "I have one question for you. Why exactly were you in a bad mood at the meeting?"

"Y-Yes. It was a good idea, to be honest.." Phillis sighed. Why was it so hard to try say sorry? He couldn't help that he was so stubborn. He just, for once, wished he could change that part of himself.

Namari nodded. "Hopefully."
"Another question. I've noticed you havent visited Dante's grave little to no times since the funeral. Why's that?" Namari finally turned her face to the man, a blank expression on her face.

"Well.." Phillis' voice drifted off. He was silent for a moment, not wanting to answer the question. "Will you answer a question for me first? Please?"

Namari shut her eyes tightly, trying to hold back tears. "You have to know something, Phillis..." she sighed with a shaky breath. "I...I push people away. I've been pushing them away since Peter's death. You can't do the same, Phillis. It ruins you. I havent gotten over Peter yet. But you are capable of getting over Dante much faster, if you just...let people in."
