The right weapon

[Denzel Kumori]

Denzel's head dropped as she sighed unhappily. she had no choice really...but Since she was going to be in a fighting course, she would need a weapon. " i wish i knew what i was looking for..."

Slowly, she made her way around the shops. No luck. Denzel sat on a bench as she began to lose some hope.

Namari walked through the plaza, eyeing weapons. The weapons were brand new, beautiful and cut sharp. And though her claymore was years old, and used in battle many times, it was still much better than any of those weapons.

She spotted a girl sitting on a bench, looking slightly upset.

"Hey." Namari said, stopping infront of her. "Are you okay?"

[Denzel Kumori]

She looked up at the elven girl with her blue eyes. "well.. im a bit frustraed you could say... im a bit new and supposed to go to the school here... but i need a weopon for a class or two that im in. i cant seem to find the right weapon. one just right for me. you know? All of these weapons are really nice." denzel shrugged slightly.

[Namari Lovelle]

"I see..." Namari nodded. "You know...you don't HAVE to buy a weapon to participate in the classes. You could just borrow one of the schools."

"Though, it IS much more fun when its your weapon..." Namari grinned. "Hey, do you want me to help you pick a weapon?"

[Denzel Kumori]

she smiled slightly. "that would be great. thanks~ " Denzel stood up and put her hand out to shake hers. "im denzel by the way. Denzel Kumori. Part winged elf, part vampire."

Namari shook the girls hand, nodding. "I'm Namari, of pure elven descent. Its...nice to meet you."

"Two questions, before we go looking for your weapon...where are your wings?" she scratched the back of her head, puzzled. "And what kind of weapon are you looking for? Dagger, sword, axe, bow, there's a lot."

"Actually, im looking for all three of the listed. " she grinned. "and as for my wings...." she started to glow, and a pair of large black raven wings appeared on her back. with them, she lightly hovered above the ground. Denzel flapped the wings lightly so she didnt blow anything away with a gust of wind. "These are my wings. I keep them hidden for many reasons."

"Hmm. Interesting." Namari looked at the wings for a moment more, before coughing, "So why do you need so many weapons? You don't seem to be made out of cash..."

[Denzel Kumori]

Denzel hesitated for a moment. "well, i like a wide variety of weapons. i want to try the arena eventually. well, only if i get high marks in my fighting class."

[Namari Lovelle]

"The arena, ehh?" Namari grinned. She liked this girl already. "Maybe you should try buying one weapon for now, and sell some creatures to a pet shop, or butcher. That way, you can have a few weapons in no time!"

"Weapons are fairly expensive brand new...unless you want to go to a second-hand store to buy a weapon? Not as good, but useable and cheap. Half price."

[Denzel Kumori]

"second hand.." denzel frowned. " i dont know who used the weapon last or what purpose it served its weilder. id rather buy a brand new one."

[Namari Lovelle]

Namari shrugged. "Hey, I was just trying to save you a bit of coin. Daggers are usually 40 coins a piece, short-swords 50, longswords 80, axes 60, bows 50, not to mention the arrows..."

Namari looked at Denzel, sighing. "I'll pay for half of your weapon. But only one. If you really want more, its coming out of your pocket."

She grinned. "what all can i get for maybe 95 coins?" there was a twinkle in her eye. she secretly loved weapons... but really didnt want people to know until later. she didnt want people to be scared of her. it was her more violent vampire blood that made her realize she liked weapons.

[Namari Lovelle]

"Do you mean in multiple weapons, or just one? If its just one, then a longsword. But if its multiple, you could get a dagger and anything on that list. I miscalculated. Daggers arent that expensive..." Namari looked emberrasingly at Denzel, "they're only about 20 coins."

"hmmm maybe for now ill get daggers and short swords. I think ill wait till my flying is better befor i buy a bow and arrows. " she thought for a moment.
"then maybe i can save up money and get a better weapon."

[Namari Lovelle]

Namari nodded. Smart decision. "All of the weapons stores here sell the basically same daggers and shortswords, so pick any and lead the way!" she smiled. I remember my first weapon... Namari thought, That dagger my parents didnt know I had, because I was six.

"but...." she sighed. "i don know which one i exactly right for me." she began to explore the shops. there were many daggers.. but when is came down to it, she chose a dagger with celtic engravings. that only left the short swords.

[Namari Lovelle]

"Alright, choosing a shortsword is much more important than a dagger. A shortsword should suit you more, as it will be used more often. A dagger would be a last resort weapon." Namari yawned, stretching.

[Denzel Kumori]

"what would you recomend for the shortsword then?"denzel raised an eyebrow and scanned through the swords.

[Namari Lovelle]

"I shouldnt pick the exact weapon, but I can narrow it down...the sword should be light, and fit your hand snuggly." she smiled, looking through the swords. Quite a few of them fit Namari's description.

"Just pick the sword you like best, hold it, and I'll say if it's the right one." Namari said.
