[Walter Grace]

Walter chuckled. Interesting... he thought. He was in his diguise, but he had managed to take out his wings in that form. It took a lot of effort, but he managed to do it. He flew through the mountains at a fast speed, enjoying the breeze. Something he wouldnt be able to do as a demon.

His lord gave him free will, he did not have to do the jobs he requested. And yet...he felt trapped. Like he couldnt escape his world. He hated his kingdom, he hated his world. He hated himself. But as he flew, he forgot about that. He felt...free.

Walter began flying as high as he could. When he seemed to be able to touch the clouds, he tucked his wings in and fell. Placing his hands in his pockets, Walter closed his eyes, enjoying the rush of air passing him. To others, it would look as if he was trying to commit suicide. But for him, it was so he could relax.

Raising her eyebrow as she walked out of her mountain-side home, denzel seen a falling Walter. "OH MY GOD!" jumping off the side of the cliff, she spread her wings. Her wings instandly caught the wind and she quickly flew over to walter. Denzel grabbed him, trying not to let him fall... but she was no super human.

Walter's eyes shot open. He opened his wings, and hovered, grabbing onto Denzel's hand. "H-Hey! Whatwas that about?" he laughed. Looking her up and down, he raised an eyebrow and blushed a bit. He hadnt seen her in a while, being busy with the town and being a knight. "You look...different, but...nice..." He smiled.

She blinked and blushed about the comment. "N-never mind that! I should be the one asking what that was about!!" she looked at him upset. "you... YOU SCARED ME TO DEATH!" denzel was in tears.

[Walter Grace]

"A-Ah! My love, please do not shed tears..." still holding her hand, he wiped away the tears. "A pretty dove like you should not cry over a man like me," He smiled gently, kissing her hand. "I was only merely...relaxing...I've been under quite a bit of stress lately, and just wanted to relax a tad. The feeling of falling is quite relaxing in my opinion. Please, do not be upset, dear."

[Denzel Kumori]

"Relaxing? you scared me to death, walter!" her face was beat red from walters words. but in her mind, he simply didnt understand.

[Walter Grace]

"I did not mean to frighten you, my lady, I did not think anyone would see me..." he smiled sadly. "I was going to catch myself much before I hit the ground. Please do not be upset, it pains me to see you sad..." he kissed her forehead, and smiled again.

[Denzel Kumori]

she blushed with a sigh. "oh walter....you pulled a stunt i failed at. i fainted and almost got myself killed when i did that, call it karma for trying to scare someone. So, whats up with all the formalities?!" she raised her eyebrow, frowning and crossing her arms.

[Walter Grace]

Blinking, he asked, "Formalities? I appologize if I am speaking in a formal matter with you, dove, I do not mean to."

[Denzel Kumori]

Denzel sighed, frowning and shaking her head as she flew back onto the mountain. 'he is changing.... really fast, too. why am i getting myself involved with aknight?' she thought to herself.

[Walter Grace]

Denzel looked unimpressed. Maybe even dissapointed. Walter winced at the thought, following the girl. "...Denzel...are you angry with me?" he mumbled. Rubbing his arm, he added, "And...angry about me...not just with me falling...?"

[Denzel Kumori]

" im angry about the falling... but im really upset at you at the same time..."

[Walter Grace]

"...why's that?" Walter frowned and stopped, lightly grabbing Denzel,s arm to stop her from walking.

[Denzel Kumori]

"youve changed....and you havent came to see me once yet since last time we seen eachother.I waited.... but no one came.... All of a sudden your a formal so-called knight. Are you even 'you' anymore?"

[Walter Grace]

"Of course I am!" Walter frowned even lower, sadness in his eyes. I'm loosing her...

"I mean...well, sure I've been really busy, but I think of you more than anything else... I-" Walter hesitated on finishing his sentence. Just say it...I love you! "I...I've missed you very badly...I'm sorry for making you wait for me, you don't deserve it, and I do not deserve your kindness..."

[Denzel Kumori]

she looked down, biting her lower lip.. suddenly, she threw her arms around him, hugging walter tightly. "promise me you will visit more often? or at least send a few letters! I..."she couldnt finish her sentance either. "I have also missed you very much! im here alone....all the time, im alone...."

Walter was usually the only person on her mind thesedays. she did think of Felicity, Phillis, seth and....dante, every now and then.

[Walter Grace]

"I'll visit you every day I can..." Walter mumbled, wrapping his arms tightly around the girl and kissing the top of her head. "I...I love you..." he mumbled, so quiet that after he said it a part of him wished she heard it, and another part wished she did not.

Denzel closed her eyes tightly. She heard him mumble 'I', and could of sworn she heard something else. she was dying to know what else he said. "i... i look forward to your visits, walter."

He let out a shakey breath, squeezing her tighter. A part of him was dissapointed that she did not hear him. "And I look forward to visiting, my little dove," he chuckled.

She could hear the dissapointment in walters shakey exhale....was he scared to say the words out loud? There was a few words that denzel was hesitant to say outloud, as well.
