Kavanah set the dummy up and tied it tightly on a poll that stuck in the ground. He took his stance and breathed deeply before he began. He started with his left. He swung up starting at the dummy's hip and following through at it's ear. The dummy shook as his hit landed, he followed with his right quickly after going horizontially from right to left. The wood drills the dummy in the head.
Kavanah smiled, "Alright then time to have some fun!" he took the dummy and wood swords back to the vender, "Want to spar? I will make it fair. No flying, magic, or ranged. Just swords and hand to hand."
"Ok, so should we use real weapons or wood? And do you want to go till knock out, first blood, or whatever else you can think of." he asked her. Although he figured she would beat him with the rules that he put forth, he wanted to get his swordsmanship back in shape so to speak.

"Wood, I suppose, and...first to deliver a killing blow," Namari smirked, then proceeded to laugh. "Of course, not an actual killing blow. More or less the first person to hit an area that with a real sword would kill you. Like the heart, the head, things like that."
He laughed as well. He hadn't noticed anything till she had said it but she had made a mistake with her words. He walked back over to the vender and apologized for all the back and forth he was doing. "Whew, ok." he held his two wooden scimitars in each hand. "Do they even make a wood sword big enough to be a match for your claymore?!" he laughed.
"Well actually my real blades are large daggers or small swords. These are the closest that the vender has to them. Yes I do use two." he smiled, "I didn't mean to make you think I doubted your claymore."

Namari smiled, shaking her head. "Not at all." Shrugging, she made her way to the counter. She came back with a rather large wooden sword, as close to what she normally used as she could get. "Now, who shall start?" Namari got into a slight defensive stance, making sure to hold the wooden sword in her right hand. She would see the mans power before switching to her left, dominant hand.

"Well it seems like you want me to, judging on your stance." he smiled, "That's no problem." he had wanted to see how much he could handle with Namari going first and all he would have to do was get a good block, but he would improvise.
Kavanah spun around to build momentum before he swung hard with both his swords together horizontally from his left to right. He swung for not Namari but for her sword, it was big and possibly heavy, if he could make it difficult to use he would find an opening.

Namari backed up, blocking the swords with a fair ease. She then stepped forward, attempting to make a quick hit on the man's chest with a diagonal slice. She was lucky she could fight with both hands.
'She certain lives up to the reputation.' he thought as she batted his attack away as if it was nothing. She responded quickly with a diagonal slice. He crossed his wood swords in a 'x' to catch the massive wood sword as it swung at his chest. Kavanah slid a bit back from the force of Namari's swing, but he managed to stop the blow.
He jumped back and swung with his left arm, the more clumsy but stronger of the two. He tried to get Namari to block this one so that his right could come in for the uppercut.

She smirked as she fought, one of her worse habits. Most people who fought her hated the smirk. She blocked the hit, but realized at once the other sword being unblocked. Before Kavanah would have the chance to strike her, she jumped back, placing a space inbetween the two and their swords.
"Finally, a challenge! I havent had one in a while!" Namari laughed, switching her sword to her left hand. It felt better than in her right, which eased her.
Kavanah missed bad with his right. It was a good thing Namari talked and didn't retaliate right away. He regained his footing and nodded at her, "I'll try to keep it interesting." he said chuckling.

Namari lunged at Kavanah, she was much quicker this time, 'Must be left handed,' he decided as he remembered her switching hands.
Kavanah ran towards the lunge and slide on the ground just before it touched him. He slid underneath the large wooden sword and with one of his two swords to push on Namari's to prevent her from crushing him with the weapon and sliced at her feet with the other.

This had made it awcward for Namari to dodge. But, no matter, she jumped over the man, but noticed his sword had hit the bottom of her shoe none the less. Rolling on the ground, she got up on her feet, turned and striked down onto Kavanah, lightly but quickly, aiming for his heart.
Kavanah was surprised by her quickness. He tried to block the blow by making an X with his wood blades, but the force from her stab shoved them into his chest none the less. "Ok, I think that would have got me." he got up and brushed himself off. "Whew, glad to see you are better than the stories would suggest." he smiled congratulating her.
