Raising an eyebrow, Namari closed her book. Putting it back and grabbing another one, she asked, "Yes but does that not mean you should treasure her while it lasts? I doubt she would like to see you suffer like this."
Namari did have a point, "Yes I should treasure it, but such little time it is since I have to be on the run constantly....." he sighed putting a book back, "Found anything yet?" he asked hopefully.

Namari, keeping her constant frown going, shook her head. "No...and I doubt you or I will."
Closing the book and placing it back on the shelf, she sighed, running a hand through her hair. "That girl's mother has been to doctors that know close to every single sickness you can get. You would think they would have even a splinter of an idea, but they havent. They have no clue. And with Stacy, it is the same. If they can't figure it out, I dont think we can find it in a book..."
He shrugged, "Sometimes the most complex things are found in the simplest ways." he figured Namari was right but he couldn't give up, Stacy was his reason for life now. Without her he was nothing but a criminal.

Namari sighed, but shrugged, giving up. "If you really want to continue doing this, I have no reason to judge." She grabbed another book, and began reading once more.

"No." Namari answered honestly. "But...I know what it's like to lose someone important to you...and I know if I could do something to prevent it from happening, I would." shrugging, she looked at Enoch. "And I know it would hurt you more to watch her die than to try finding a cure and failing."
"Do you think there is any hope?" he asked turning and looking at the woman. She was tough and strong, but that didn't fool him. He could tell she had a sensitive side.

"Yes. There is always a chance that a miracle will happen. Finding a cure will be easier than finding a miracle, I believe. I just think there is a small chance of finding a cure." Namari said.
He nodded his head smiling, "Then I guess I shouldn't waste time." he put another book back on the shelf. "You know that tournaments coming up.... Are you in it?"

"No, I am not." Namari shook her head. "I will stay leader of the knights, as long as the champion wishes it. I can lead a group of people, but I do not fancy ruling over a kingdom. If I wanted to do that, I would just go back to Bataille!" she laughed.

Shutting her book and placing it back, she turned to Enoch. "I should get going. You should soon, as well, I know that some students come here early around this time. But, one more question, have you entered the tournament?"
"Uh ya....." he was so tired he just told her he had, "Well I meant I might, I doubt people would like that let alone tolerate it. I'll leave as soon as I finish this shelf."

Nodding, Namari said, "Best go in disguise if you do. See you around, Enoch, good luck." Walking past him, she patted his back and walked to the entrance to the library. Stopping, she added without facing him, "If you're wondering why I havent arrested you, I find no reason to. I believe in second chances, though it may turn to be my downfall. Not to mention you werent hostile while we spoke. Just don't try harming the town again, or I shall have to kill you. Believe it or not, I do not want to do that. You seem nice." She walked out, passing through the halls and leaving the school.
Enoch placed the last book on the shelf and stood there for a moment. She was right it would possibly lead to her downfall, but she would change more lives that way. He walked over to a shelf and cut a line, he wouldn't need that, it was just in case she had tried to arrest him. He sighed and jumped to the top of the shelf and then out an opened window in a corner. He shut it quietly and carefully went back to his house.
