Lord Dosise approached the large arena. He had no clue what exactly was going on, just that he had joined a tournament. He entered the already crowded arena and walked to the scoreboard. "Let's see, Dosise and...Steele." he stared at it for a moment before nodding his head. "Should be interesting." he walked over to. A small training area and made sure all his equipment was there and ready.
Steele (human) walked into the arena with one thing and one thing on his mind. Beat Kyle. This is the only time and place he could beat him half ti' death and not get in trouble for it. He looked at the crowd and saw a fight about to take place on the other side of the arena. Two people he'd never seen before. He could hear the chatter of the crowd, mostly angry citizens talking poorly about Steele. But he didn't care about any of that, he just wanted to fight Kyle. He made his way to the scoreboard. Lord Dosise vs Steele. Steele grinned, perfect. Steele still wanted to get Lord Dosise back for making him lose his only lead on Enoch. It was still morning, so a transformation would only exhaust him, he had to fight this battle entirely human. If things went well, he would be fighting Kyle at night.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Dosise saw Steele stride in, almost instantly the people behind him started complaining about him. Steele grinned at the scoreboard. He walked over to where he was and greeted him, "Well hello Steele. Happy to fight me are you?"
"Indeed I am', jus' din't take it personal when ye' get sent ti' thee infirmary." Steele says going past him, making sure he had his daggers in his jacket. Steele was really beginning to hate the town people, maybe if he won the whole tournament he could find a way to just get rid of them. They had five minutes before the fight would start.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
He couldn't help but smile, "I won't take it personally don't worry." he quickly scanned over Steele. "I can use items in this right?" he asked Steele.
"Nay healing items, otha' than that, tis' tournament tis' aboot' demonstrating yer' skills. So all tools are available." Steele lies. "Why thee hell would I know, ask thee damn ref." He says. Just then Jack, wearing all black, comes over and gestures for Lord Dosise and Steele to come over.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
"Oh well then just to be safe," he runs to the side drinking a shot that would hide his scent he then placed his necklass and everything he wouldn't need in his bag. He ran back over without his heavy cloak, but only his sword and knives that he kept in his pockets ( and his claw glove). "Ok I'm ready."

Steele was puzzled. That's strange, it was like his scent just....vanished. He walked over to Jack. "Alright guys this is the tournament of Avaleur, you two are the second match. Keep your hands up at all times, you fight until one of you gives up or is unable to defend yourself. Do you have any questions for me? If not shake hands and let's begin."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Steele began to get frustrated. "Why din't ye keep yer hands doon' so i can knock ye out okay. Jus' defend yerself' alreedy so we can get started!" Steele growled. This guy really got on Steele's nerves.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Steele just looked at Lord Dosise's hand and backed away to his end of the arena. He watched as Lord Dosise did the same. "Alright, let the match begin!" Jacks says.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Lord Dosise held his sword in his right hand and with his left he held it up and waved it while moving his fingers. A thick fog began to form around Dosise and slowly spread throughout the arena. "I'll let you make the first offensive more Steele." he smiled as he called to him from his corner.
Steele smirked hiding his true thoughts. This was bad, very bad. Steele had no scent of him and would have to rely on his hearing. As a human his hearing was still superior, but no where near his level of hearing if he changed. Steele took a knife out of his pocket. If he stayed here he'd just be a sitting duck, it'd be much much harder to hit a moving target. Without a moments hesitation he charges right where he last saw Enoch, and then to the left to keep things unpredictable.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
As an assassin he had been trained to only attack once, it should only take one otherwise you are discovered. Most of what he would do would be the set up for his 'checkmate'. As soon as he heard Steele run into the fog he threw a dagger across the ground. It skipped across making clinks as it went. He threw another and another.
He still hadn't left his spot yet and really had no clue where Steele was. He gave a swinging motion with his hand and a small section of fog cleared. He saw a part of Steele's jacket and quickly closed the area again.
He could hear daggers flying but where!? This made Steele panic a bit. He had to keep moving though, staying there would be the worst thing he could do. "Come out nd' fight me like a man, ye think thee' crowd can see anythin!?"
(Hey if I randomly get off it's because my mother and I are about to watch the Ice Age Christmas special. I'll txt you though.)
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
He smiled it was working. He could hear the slight panic in his voice and now he had asked him a question. He would be expecting an answer. Dosise began to focus hard on making a vocal illusion. As he spoke, it would seem like it came from everywhere, tiring, but needed. "They don't need to see what happens, build suspense," he began walking to where Steele was before. "Just think, all they can do is hear.....just like you really."
Steele didn't like being toyed with. He slowed down. There was no way he could tell where Lord Dosise was. He just had to guess and hope for the best. He picked a direction and charged right at it with his knife.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
