Namari sighed at the altar. She was down on her knees, praying for those fighting in the tournament. She was worried. She did not want anyone she cared about getting hurt. Denzel, Phillis...Steele.
His name brought a smile to her lips, but she continued praying none the less. It was funny, thinking that someone she was close to could be the boss of her one day. Even funnier to think someone she did not know could become the boss of her one day, as well. But as long as she still had her knights, and still lead them, she was okay with being a little below someone else.
Roland walked into the church. The tournament was about to begin and he had some things to get off his chest. He had killed a cyclops and like he did after killing anything, he came to ask for forgiveness. He walked quietly to the front and noticed Namari was there, he didn't want to disturb so he tried to kneel over in the corner to pray.

Namari opened her eyes, hearing footsteps with her long elven ears. She turned to see Roland praying. "Oh, hello Roland." she smiled, getting up and walking over to him.
"I was here to pray for the cyclops I killed." he shook his head, "Although it had to die it still deserves the proper sending." he looked up at the statue as well. Tetra didn't have things like this, only statues of large warriors and kings.

Namari nodded. "Her name is Amora. There may be many religions, but she is one of the more common gods. It is said that although she watches over us, and protects us, she lets us control our lives, and what happens. She is not seen by the angels or demons, which makes some believe she does not exist. But, none the less it does not matter if you believe in her or not. If she exists, she will watch over you no matter."
"Supposedly she was a commoner, in an old, long forgotten kingdom. She was beautiful, kind, and was loved by all. The king, an old brittle man wished to marry her. She refused, falling in love for another kingdoms prince. The king was angry, and attacked the princes kingdom. As the king and prince battled, she stopped the fighting by stepping in between the two. They accidentally both stabbed her, and she died. The battle was over."
"When she died, it is said that all of the gods were touched by her bravery, as they have seen none like it, and created a god out of her." Namari finished.
Roland felt stupid, how could he forget avaleur's main religion. "Hmm, that's right..... I do remember that know. You however told it much better than my teachers." he smiled looking up at the statue. "You also told me more...... What happened after she died? What happened to the prince?" he asked curious.

Chuckling, she continued, "Well, the king went mad, and killed himself. His son took over, and put their kingdoms name to good again. As for the prince, he was in sorror for many years. But it is said that Amora came to him one night, and put his head to rest. He lived happily then, but never married. Instead, he adopted a girl, who married the king's son's son, if that makes any sense. So, those kingdoms united, and when the prince died he met with Almora supposedly and became a god next to her. Though, it is questioned whether he became an angel, or a god."
"Wow. Thanks for telling me. What where the two kingdoms?" he smiled up at the statue, it meant more now that he knew what it was. "Do you believe it?" he asked.

"Ahh, the names escape my mind currently...I think Albamore and Tharelin, Tharelin being the king's kingdom, and Albamore being the princes." Namari smiled. "I do not know if I believe in it. I think that we build our beliefs on pure nothingness. Besides, I was brought up on a different religion, being from another country and race."

Namari smirked, nodding. "Ahh, so you've heard of it! Yes, I am from Bataille. I'm actually from the ruling kingdom there, if you've ever heard of it. It's called Fidelite."
"He smiled that was one of my more precise thoughts. I have heard many great things of it." he laughed it sometimes surprised himself that pay such close attention at Tetra battle classes would help him so much. "So you said that you could rule there? Wow, that's something else."

"Ah, yes. You wouldnt think that I could have been the ruler of a whole country, ehh?" she smirked, laughing as she sat down on one of the wooden benches.
"No I think you could.... If you really wanted to, and had some help. I don't think anyone could do it alone." he say down next to her. "How's your egg?"

"Ha! Egg, you call it! He hatched, Benny is his name...he's already growing big, though. Peter is smaller than him now!" she smiled. "I'm thinking of training Benny to be a protector of the town. I mean, who would like to mess with a town that has a dragon to protect it? Suit him with armor and the like, and we're good!"
