Rio sat in an empty cabin. It used to belong to a dirty criminal but he died. Heart failure or injury or something, Rio didn't care. He was dead now, and the place was all hers.
The cabin was a dirty place though. Anywhere you searched you'd find some sort of weapon hidden, most of which were still 'dirty'. It didn't bother her in the slightest, afterall it was all hers now. She smirked to herself in a small shard of mirror hung on the wall.
Rio took a hunting knife, she brought it close to her hair and began cutting. Her long hair reminded her too much of heaven. That terrible, terrible place. Her looks had begun to change since arriving on Avaleur. For the better, of course.
After she threw away the hair she'd cut off, she wiped herself off. She was ready to begin the life she wanted to live.
Lord Dosise walked into the camp of thieves and crooks. He came to remove his items from his tent and take it back to his new home in the town. Most of the stuff that he would find would go to the caves and start stocking up the black market with Kyle.
He walked the camp feeling a little out of place. Dirty looks were shot at him from about every direction. He looked different, almost Lordly, which was what he was going for. The criminals didn't take to kindly to the presence of someone they thought might be a knight.
"Hey! What the hell do you think you are doing here snooping around our camp? This ain't no place for yer kind." a large and shirtless man spoke up. He word and eyepatch and had a scar from his shoulder that covered his whole torso, it bulged out and like repulsing.
"Just gathering my things, don't mind me......Really, don't try anything you will regret." Dosise said as he walked toward his tent.
"I don't regret nothin ever!" he must have ticked the man off because the voice was followed by a bottle that flew past his head and shattered on the floor. He sighed, seems as though there would be a brawl.
Rio could hear a commotion outside. She walked out, throwing her fist against the door. " Shut up." he yelled, glaring them all down.
Complete silence.
Rio had a big impact on the men at the camp. She proved to them all that she was a tough girl, and they all respected her a bit. Of course, nobody could tame the men perfectly. They were still loud and obnoxious. One of the men laughed. He was fat, and balding. "Rio, don't be so silly *hic* we're just kidding around!" he was obviously drunk. Rio rolled her eyes.
"Lord Dosise." he replied. She seemed to be short, almost bored with what was around her. "So are you new to this camp of criminals?" he didn't remember seeing her when he was here.
Rio nodded her head. "The old man in that cabin died so I took it over." She pointed to the rigidity old place. "You've been here for awhile, I assume?"
"Just leaving actually. The place severed me well when I needed it, but now it just doesn't work." He tried to explain but it wasn't like he could tell her his whole tale.
"I have. It suits my needs better than this place does." he looked around the camp of drunken thieves. "Hard to believe isn't it." he said sarcastically.
"The decision tore my heart in two, but in the end I had to pick." he chuckled unable to hold his sarcasm any longer. "No this place is alright in all honesty. A lot of interesting things and people come through."
"I don't know......" he folded his arms, "The thing about that is if you think it's worth the wait. People who always follow the rules are bound to toss them to the side at some point, and when they do they toss them hard. You just have to decide if you are willing to wait."
"When a rule follower has had enough of the rules they lash out much harder and with more damage than someone who never followed them at all." he thought of himself, heck he practically started a civil war in Paineston when he broke the rules and betrayed his mentor.
