A New Friendship

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan sat on the road up the mountain, listening to the wind and the birds. The air was cool and breezy, like his home, and he enjoyed it. Avaleur was as nice as he expected it to be. Though, most did not take the fact that he didn't talk very well. He had not really made any friends. There was Kavanah, though, and that was good.

So Jordan sat down, thinking about what he should do with his time in Avaleur.

[Scooter]

Scooter had a fun time exploring Avaleur. Now that he knew his way around. He was still having a tough time adjusting though.

He spotted Jordan, sitting and decided to accompany him. "Hello, friend!" he exclaimed.

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan looked up at the man and blinked, waving a hello.

[Scooter]

Scooter waved backed enthusiastically. The boy seemed polite. " What's your name?" he asked, showing more interest than one should.

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan searched in his pocket. He found a card, and threw it to the man. It was his ID card, stating his name, that he was a noble, his age, where he was from, uite a lot of information. He then pointed to Scooter, wondering his name as well.

[Scooter]

"Jordan? That's a cool name! My name is Scooter, pleased to meet you!" He gave Jordan back his ID card, extending his arm for a handshake.

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan shook the mans hand, smiling.

[Scooter]

Scooter smiled back. " Are you shy? It's okay if you're shy, I've met shy people before~! I think it's sweet, actually. It's a cute trait. I'm sure you'll get over your shyness.. Oh, unless you enjoy being shy!! Then that's okay! I like shy people!" he kept talking, and talking, not taking a breath in between words.

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan smiled, holding in a laugh. This man was holding up his end of the conversation pretty well, which was good for Jordan. He didnt have to talk.

[Scooter]

Scooter laughed as well. He was enjoying the company. In a way, Jordan was reminding him of his twin brother. He also spoke few words. Scooter was used to holding up a conversation by himself.

"So, do you live here? In Avaleur?"

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan thought for a moment. Technically he DID live here now...

He nodded. To ask the man the same, he pointed to Scooter and shrugged.

[Scooter]

"Well, I just arrived here. I don't have a home yet. I suppose I'm not so good at home finding. Oh, and, to answer the question, yes, I do live here now. Technically, I guess." Scooter laughed a bit. " Have you lived here long?"

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan shook his head in a no, and put up three fingers to indicate three days.

[Scooter]

In response, Scooter put up two fingers, indicating two days. He grinned. "Wow, we got here a day apart. What a coincidence!" he laughed. " Did you live far from here before?"

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan shrugged. His home was not that far away, more or less, but did take some time to get there. Jordan stared at Scooter, pointing to him, asking him the same question.

[Scooter]

"Oh, well, I'm always moving around. My travel to Avaleur was a little longer than my normal moves. It wasn't too far though, but I still wanted to get here no matter what." Scooter said proudly. " Well, then, Jordan. Have you made any friends here yet?"

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan nodded. He put up one finger. He then pointed to Scooter. Scooter seemed to know what Jordan asked him very quickly, quicker than anyone he had ever talked to before.

[Scooter]

"Me too!" Scooter exclaimed. "I've made friends with one person too!" he laughed, it was funny how much they had in common. "Hey, Hey, maybe we can be friends too? Then we can be be each others second friend."

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan held in a laugh, smiling. He nodded to Scooter. Jordan thought that Scooter was fairly interesting.

"Yay! That makes me happy!" Scooter laughed. "I like making friends, don't you?"
