A Day Off

[Dante Ahti]

His sister had decided that it would be best if he took the day off from school. Though Dante did not like this idea much, he trusted his sister, which led him to wandering around town.

This is when he remembered he had no life outside of school.

Sure, people knew him around town. But that didnt mean he had friends. He knew Denzel. But she was probably in school.

Dante frowned, taking a seat on the edge of the fountain, watching the people pass by. What to do, what to do...

Felicity tip-toed around the edge of the fountain, giggling and playing around.

She noticed the boy sitting on the edge and glided towards him, she jumped over his head, twirling in the air. She landed beside him, still managing to giggle.

Dante looked at the fairy, one eyebrow up. He laughed, smiling. "Hello." he said, looking her up and down.

"Hello!" Felicity smiled, as she sat beside the boy, crossing her legs. "I'm Felicity! and you?"

[Dante Ahti]

"I'm Dante." he said, holding his hand out to shake hers. "A pleasure to meet you." he added.

Felicity shook his hand. "The pleasure is all mine!"

Dante grinned. "Do you go to the school here? I havent seen you around." he said, again looking at the girls wings.

"I just started today." Felicity chimed. "Do you go to school?"

[Dante Ahti]

"Yes. I'm hoping to become a famous sorcerer one day." Dante smiled, "There arent that many famous humans these days, I want to prove other races that we are just as equal."

"What are you going to school for?" he asked.

Felicity smiled. "That's nice!" She giggled. " I'm sure your dream will come true."

She played around with her fingers. " I just wanted to make some friends~!"

[Dante Ahti]

Dante smiled, liking the happy aura of the girl. "I'm sure you'll gain quite a few friends at the school."

He paused for a moment, before he realized something. "Hey, Felicity..." he said, looking at her, "Why arent you at school right now?"

"I only have three classes to attend." Felicity said. "They all ended early!"

"Why aren't you at school?"

[Dante Ahti]

"My sister told me to take the day off..." Dante laughed, rubbing the back of his head. "Things have been pretty hectic lately, in her opinion."

"Oh dear. I hope things get better then." Felicity said, twirling her finger around, fairy dust following it closely. It was a habit of hers.

[Dante Ahti]

Dante nodded, staring at the fairy dust. "Where did you live before you moved here?" He asked, amazed by the dust. He had never seen such a thing.

"The Avaleur forest," Felicity giggled a little. " by myself. It was fun. Have you lived here your whole life?"

[Dante Ahti]

"Yes, I have. Been studying at the school since I was 8." Dante smiled. "How did a young girl such as yourself survive living in the forest?" He thought this girl was full of suprises.

Felicity twirled her fingers around a bit more. "I guess I was kind of lucky. If I saw any creatures that might harm me, I could simply just distract them with fairy dust and then fly away." She smiled back at the boy.

"You seem like you have a lot of potential too. Are you good at magic?"

[Dante Ahti]

"In my honest opinion, I actually am fairly good." Dante smiled. "I have fought off dangerous beasts before. Of course, I wasnt always able to get away unharmed." He touched his arm lightly.

"The school can not do much for me in that course anymore. I still attend it, none the less. Magic is my favourite course, after all!" he laughed.

Felicity laughed along with the boy. " I love magic too!"

She stood up again as she began balancing around the edge of the fountain. "This place is very pretty!"
