(this is the pov of Maurice, one of Goria's lackeys) Maurice laughed at the sight of it all. He was a Fiin who had been given free reign over the destruction of the farmlands. No food, no soldiers, no war. He teleported into the midst of the farmlands, and went to town. "Inferno." He said calmly. The field of wheat next to him burst into flames, then swirled into the air and exploded into a giant fireball, setting nearby fields on fire with the destruction. Maurice took great pleasure in it all, relishing it even. He laughed and made his way through the farmlands, blowing up houses and setting things on fire, ripping the ground apart below the crops. His master, Goria, had imbued him with power the likes of which he never knew existed. He was having fun, and nothing and nobody could stop him. He let out a wicked laugh and continued with his immorale destruction.
Rez walked threw the farmlands as he saw them burst into flames. He thought of Jordan and how in the woods he hated to see him burn things, he would help stop this for him. Rez motioned with his hand and wherever they went the fire was stopped and a thick cloud of smoke rose into the air, he was in his normal awakening, luckily that would do the trick.
After finnally saving a village from complete destruction, Rez began to catch up to whatever of whoever was starting this.
He noticed a large ball of flames explode in the air causing smaller balls to fall down towards the ground. Rez focused for this one, the balls of fire morphed into a shape the resembled birds. They flew through the air as they picked up speed the gust that they created caused them to go out.
Maurice watched and laughed as all the fire was put out. Maybe a worthy challenge? That he didn't know, but he watched as a man approached him. "You like fire, huh? Let's see how you handle earth!" Maurice stomped on the ground, and huge fissures tore the earth apart in seven directions. "Let the sleeping giant awaken, the ancient being known as war!" He screamed delightfully. He flew over the fissures that were rapidly spreading through the farmlands, and attacked the man bare handed.
Rez couldn't neutralize the fissures, not at this moment. He waited for the flying man to approach. He flung his arms down causing them to ignite in a coating of fire. It turned blue and Rez readies himself.
Rez grabbed the man's punch and with a motion of his hand, caused streams of fire to erupt from the fissures. With that he formed a compacted fire ball which he threw at Maurice.
Maurice easily neutralized the fireball, turning it into a chuck of rock as big around as his fist. Then he laughed hysterically. "This is FUN!" He exclaimed, obliviouls to the fire on his fist. He teleported behind Rez and instantly did a heel drop on his left shoulder. He heard the satisfying snapping sound he had been hoping for. Either a dislocated shoulder or a broken collarbone, maybe both.
Dadrmora could see the events of the battle unfolding even from this far away. He shook in anger as he realized that it was Maruice fighting, and he screamed out a spell towards him. Twenty or so rocks rose into the air and started viciously attacking Maurice, surprising him. The other warrior appeared injured, but Dadramora assumed he could still fight.

Rez winced for a moment due to the pain in his arm. It was over now, he was done trying to be gentle. His attacker would get the full power of his awakening. Rez roared at Maurice as he pumped his chest out. The fire that coated his arms turned into black flames, impossible many would say, unless it was mastered. As Rez threw out his chest, a burning silhouette was thrown from his body and flew towards Maurice. It latched on to him burning his flesh and erupted into a ball of fire, Maurice being in the middle of it. Rez flipped himself up and popped his shoulder back into place, his eyes as black and flaming as his arms.
Maurice cackled with delight, relishing the pain he felt from the stones and the fire. "More! Give me MORE!!!!" He screamed, absorbing the flames into himself. In a few seconds he had absorbed them all, his flesh lightly singed after casting the shielding magic. He laughed even more manically, then drew his sword. It was wickedly curved, with barbs running down the entire length of the sword which was three an a half feet long. It was a short sword, and made of a blackish metal, almost purple. "I'd like you to meet my little friend here! He has tasted the blood of thousands of souls, and you two are next!" He lept at Rez, his movements lightning fast. As he struck with the sword, he thought spells in his head and pillars of ice and water mixed with shards of wood from nearby orchards all attacked Rez along with the lightning fast, and very deadly sword.
Dadramora couldn't believe what he was seeing. Maurice was mauling Rez unmercifully, and he was still a ways away. "Ahh, fuck it!" He screamed. He teleported down to the battle, catching the sword before it could come close to striking Rez again. With a push of magic, Dadramora launched Maurice back, stopping his spells as well. His hand was gushing blood, but he'd be fine. "Vana Nin Tatha bi Namba!" He screamed. Immediately, balls of flame and oddly shapen spears of ice started attacking Maurice, giving Dadramora and this other fighter a chance to breathe. Dadrmora healed his hand, then went over to Rez. "I'm Dadramora. That's Maurice. I don't care who you are, let's just kill this fucker." With that, Dadramora handed him his hand and a half sword and summoned a short sword from his boot, enlarged it to its normal size, then motioned for him and Rez to attack at the same time.

Rez was about to defend himself with a spinning wave of fire, good thing he didn't Dadramora would have teleported right into it. Maurice had absorbed his fire, foolish, that would come in handy soon. For if you consumed someone else's magic it was best to release it, if they were strong enough they could still use it.
Rez looked at the sword shaking his head, he would have liked to use it, but in this form he could not. It was impossible. He chuckled hearing Dadramora, "Alright, I'm fine with that." he set the sword on the ground beside him and spun his arms and body, similar to trying to catch ones balance. Three fire rings in the shape of discs flung towards Maurice.
Maurice laughed as Dadramora fought him. The dragoon was fast, yes, but Maurice matched him blade for blade easily, while defending against fireballs, flame discs, and ice spears. Finally, Maurice decided enough was enough. He grabbed Dadramora's sword and snapped it in half, then used a burst of magic to disperse the balls, discs, and spears. "Hey fireball, want your fire back?" He asked. Playtime was over. He tainted the man's magic with a special poison undetectable by any but him and Goria, then unleashed the magic back out into the air. As soon as the man used it, he'd hurt himself. "It's time to end this." He kicked away Dadramora, then cut his hand on his sword. He slammed his bloody hand on the ground, and muttered in words undecipherable by any who wasn't a Fiin. The ground shook, and a few seconds later a golem appeared out of a fissure. It was made of diamonds as red as blood, indestructable in many ways. The golem let out a roar, and then charged towards Dadramora and Rez.
Rez noticed the fact that Maurice let go of the fire he had collected, it was the first intelligent thing he had done. Rez looked at the diamond golem, he let his arms returned to normal as the flames dispersed. He reached into his satchel and pulled out a handful of the pinkish dust that would put him to sleep, he smiled and breathed deeply. The powder entered his lungs and instantly he feel to the ground asleep.
"What the fuck man!!!?" Dadramora exclaimed. He snatched the man off of the ground and threw him over his shoulder. He took off into the air, frustrated. "Fuckin' dammit! I may have to go dragon on this mother fucker. Dammit, stay calm." He dodged the diamond arrows the golem was launching at him, then flew down low and scooped up his hand and a half sword. He charged the golem, then cut its arm off at the joint. Its other arm slammed the two to the ground, hard, and Dadramora felt his left arm snap like a twig.

The slam caused Rez to awaken he shook of the tiredness and his body slowly began to cover in a metallic like substance over his body. He readied himself to hold of the golem and give Dadramora time to heal.
Dadramora had more wrong with him than he thought. His ribs broke again and punctured a lung. He was rapidly coughing up blood and starting to pass out, but he decided to not die and healed himself. It took a huge amount of magic to do it, but he had plenty left. He looked at the man, and saw something disheartening. Maurice had summoned another four of the golems, and was still awake. "Hey, you! Think you can hold off those five big motha fuckers real fast?"

Maurice cackled at the sight of the two warriors trying to stay alive. "Maybe I'll summon another five or ten!!! Have some REAL fun!!!" He screamed across to the pair.
Rez nodded as he couldn't speak in this awakening. He ran toward one of the golems and it punched him square in the face. The fist stopped dead after connecting with Rez and he gave an uppercut that shattered its arm like it was glass. He used a leg sweep to knock the golem down and raised the leg back up so he could slam his heel into its face. There was a moan from the golem moments before his head shattered. Rez tilted his head to see the remaining four. Golems were such stupid creatures, not even a challenge really.
While the golems were distracted, Dadramora circled around them and started fighting Maurice. The were again matched blade for blade, blow for blow. Dadramora increased the magic flowing though him to the max, and after a few minutes he got a bit of an edge. Maurice had unleashed too much energy with the spells he cast and was slowing. Not much, but enough. Dadramora sent a quick sweeping attack at his feet which Maurice dodged, but he was hit by Dadramora's tail and was sent staggering. Dadramora roared in triumph, then jabbed straight for Maurice. Maurice tried to jump out of the way, but the sword ended up impaling his leg all the way through. He shouted in pain, then punched Dadramora and teleported away somewhere. Almost instantly, the golems that were left fell after the magic binding them disappated.

Rez's body slowly returned to normal. He walked over to Dadramora, "Coward, out number us and not even stay to fight. That was pretty pathetic." he flipped his hair with his hand. "Would you like to help me fix things here? Maurice wouldn't understand, but he helped the soil here, it wasn't very fertile. But now the ash will make the land very good for planting."
Dadramora sighed. "My new friend, I could try. But Maurice... If he's here already that means that it is further along than I thought. Did he say anything about war?"
