Rio smirked. She stood still in front of the boy. " That's sweet, really. Especially coming from you and your cheap magic tricks." She laughed. She set a series of explosions to go off infront of Dante, as she stood on one of the church benches. She jumped up, hanging off of one of the beams in the ceiling. She twisted her body around, aiming to kick Dante in the face.

Dante jumped through the explosion, making Rio miss his face, though getting slightly harmed by the explosions. He rolled on the ground, resting on one foor and one knee, hands to the ground. He got up, a bit of blood on his lip. "Is this really the best you can do?" he rolled his eyes. "If my magic is both just a trick and cheap, then your explosions are pop rocks." He looked up at the girl.
Rio giggled as if he'd just told the funniest joke. She walked towards Dante. Placing her foot on his groin. "No, this isn't my best. But you're not worth my best efforts." She said, pushing her foot forward as she gave her hardest kick. She knew this was a soft spot for boys and kicks just happened to her best physical move. " but what can I say? I like to play with my food."

Dante gasped out in pain, grabbing his crotch and rolling onto the floor. "Y-You play dirty, Rio, it's the people like you who die in fights they can not control..." he managed to mutter out, giving the girl a death glare.
Rio stepped over the boy, sitting on his stomach, pinning his arms down with her legs. She laughed at his reaction. "Oh, did that hurt?" she asked, smirking. She filled her mouth with her own saliva before spitting directly onto the boys face. "Keep giving me that disgusted look, I just love that." She said in a low, creepy voice as she cracked her knuckles.
She grasped the boys throat with one hand, she brought the other one high up, tightening it into a tight fist as she brought it down to punch the boy in the face.

Dante managed to shimmy his hand out from under the girl, and stop the punch. It almost his his face. He just stared up at her. "You could have been a lot more Rio." He muttered, fairly tired. He was beat and bruised, and all of the like.
" I was once." Rio smiled. " But it was too boring for me." She stood up, wiping her hands off. She too was fairly tired, but not ready to give up. She clenched her fists together, waiting for the boy to attack.

Dante struggled to get up, but got up none the less, in a ready position once more. He turned his fists to metal once more, and threw his hands at her with all he had.
Rio took a few steps back, and ran behind the boy, avoiding the metal punch.
She grabbed the boy from behind, her arm crushing his throat in a tight grip. She pushed her chest against his back, getting close and threatening. "Sorry, but, I'm not falling for that same old trick." she whispered into his ear as she placed her other hand over his mouth. "It's a pity you have to die, you were so fun to play with. "
With that, Rio closed her eyes, exploding the boy right in her arms. She laughed to herself. " Too easy. Good-bye, dainty baby Dante."

Instead of blood bursting from the boy, it was blue dust. Magic. Dante smiled as he disolved. The dummy dissapeared right as the real Dante appeared behind Rio. He wrapped an arm tightly around her neck, and placed a hand to her back.
"...I'm...sorry." he muttered, a tear dripping down onto her shoulder from him.
That is when he made the girl explode with the hand on her back.

Dante stared at the statue of Almora, the front of his body soaked in blood. He stared for what seemed like forever, before he began to cry. "Must I kill my friends to save lives...and must I kill in a holy place...?" he rubbed the tears from his eyes.
Once he regained himself, he looked outside at the battle and frowned. I must leave now...
Getting up, right before he left the church, he looked up at the sky. Almora...please give Rio some slack. She was bad. But she was still my friend. he prayed. Goodbye, Rio. With that, the boy left the church and entered the battlefield once more.
