He laughed slightly. "I dont get sick that easy." He took out a jacket from a bag near him and scooter. "Here, put this on. Ill walk you home. It would suck if you get sick, because then your job will have to be post-poned."
Scooter smiled gently at Kyle and accepted the jacket. Although he had a high tolerance for cold, he couldn't resist such a kind gesture. He put it on, it was evidently much too big for his small figure, but it was very comfortable and warm. " Gee, thanks! That really is nice of you to offer so much. I really appreciate it." he chimed as the two began walking.
Scooter pointed to the right. " I live on the farms!" he exclaimed, very proud of the fact. "Have you been there? It's very lovely! I love the farmers field!"

"Wow! I've actually never been near the farms... I wasn't even sure if Avaleur had farms, really." They started to walk in the direction Scooter pointed in. "So, how long have you been here for, Scooter?"
Scooter counted on his fingers. "Uh.. a few months, I think! Ever since the steady flow of rain started, I guess!" he smiled sweetly. A bit of a blush adorned his cheeks. He enjoyed talking to Kyle. "How long have you been here?"

He thought hard for a moment. "I actually don't know how long I've been here for. A lot has happened since I came here and time flies. My welcome present ... wasn't welcoming. I was exploring some ruins and got stuck in a trap specifically built for me. Some thing happened when I went to visit the king."
Kyle stopped walking, crouching and lifting his pant legs a bit. It was enough to show the zig zag pattern scars creating anklets."It was interesting. Both times, king Phillis set me free from the traps." he shrugged. "Luck was on my side, I guess. That was a long time ago, I think. I'm really thankful for the rain though. Your job is more important than the kings in my opinion, and I'd rather save people instead of being saved."
Scooter looked at the scars on Kyles ankle. He had leaned over, looking at them closely. "You really think my job is more important than the kings..?" Scooter asked quietly, smiling as he blushed like a little schoolgirl. "I think scars are very interesting, they always tell a story. I'm glad you were alright though." he changed the subject, to avoid further blushing.

"Yup, your job is waaaay more important. You keep the crops alive.. That feeds many people. Local grown crops are the best. I'm pretty happy about the fact that I got out of those traps. I've met many wonderful people because I stayed alive."
"Oh, I'm very happy about that too!" Scooter exclaimed as he stood up. " If you didn't get out of those traps, we never would have met! And that would make me sad because I think you're really neat!" Scooter giggled cutely. "Honest!"
Scooter nodded. The two began walking again. Scooter didn't want to admit to Kyle that he could stop the rain at any time. He just wanted him to stay longer, and being walked home made the boy feel so content that he didn't want it to end. Not to mention that Kyles jacket was extremely comfortable.
"We're close by the farms now, actually! I live in the very first house so it won't be a long walk or anything." Not that Scooter would have minded a long walk, though. "It's too bad it's raining, or else I would give you a tour of the fields. They are very cute! I love them."

"Heh..maybe next time I see you, you can give me a tour. You can keep the coat if you want. It looks better on you. Plus you look rather comfortable." Kyle blushed slightly , but smiled, looking at the farm house they were approaching.
"For real? Are you sure I can keep it?" Scooter asked, blushing happily. "It's so nice though, are you sure? I wouldn't want you to give up something so nice for me."

"It's fine!" He laughed, putting his hand on Scooters shoulder. "I probably have another jacket kicking around somewhere." All this time, his smile never faded, and his eyes held the kind, gentle look. For the first time in over a month, he was happy. 'If I don't find another jacket, I could just buy a new one.. or loot it from someone. Or take it from someone who wont be missing it..' he thought to himself. After all, he was still a thief and an assassin. He wasn't a bad guy though. He only does things to survive, help others survive, or even to bring some justice. When it comes down to it, kings will even hire assassins, thieves or spies.

"Aw gee, thanks a bunch, Kyle!" Scooter exclaimed. " I really do like you a lot, you're so generous and-" he stopped talking as he realized they had reached his house. "Oh, we're here! Thanks a lot for walking me all the way over here!" Scooter leaned up, and pecked a kiss on the mans cheek as if to thank him. He smiled cutely. "I'll keep my pinky promise and make it up to you sometime!"

Blushing, Kyle stopped walking. "Well, I guess this is it then. See ya around, Scooter." He waved, transforming and running off. What just happened? Kyle was pretty confused. Things like that hadn't happened since he met Phillis. And now it was happening again.
What the hell.. Why is this happening to me again..?

Scooter waved goodbye to Kyle. He waited a moment before he entered his house. He shut the door behind him, leaning against it and sinking down to the ground happily. His heart was racing and his face was bright red. Ahh.. What a day.
He stood back up and looked out the window, making the rain calm down a little bit so that Kyle would have a safer trip home.
