A Date On Ice *PRIVATE RP*

[Jordan Hielo]

"Well...it's basically dancing, but on ice." Jordan stopped the two from moving. Once he knew Lorelei would be okay to stand and not fall, he began figure skating. Twirls and jumps of all different kinds.

[Lorelei]

Lorelei watched in surprise. "How did you have a hard time learning to dance when you can do all that?"

[Jordan Hielo]

"As you can see, dancing on ice is different from dancing on a floor. I'm used to the slide, and grace the ice gives you. You work with the ice. On the floor, you work on it. I'm sure you can feel the difference." Jordan smiled, stopping after a twirl and gliding over to Lorelei.

[Lorelei]

Lorelei nodded. "You do have a rather good point. It is much harder to work on ice then on the stage." she said, as she glided on her own for a moment. She had gotten the hang of it, it seemed.

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan smiled. "Glad to see you're able to skate now, at least!"

Giving off a larger grin, he asked, "would you like to hearn how to do a twirl?"

[Lorelei]

"A twirl? Is it difficult to do?" Lorelei asked. She wasn't facing Jordan since she didn't know how to turn around in skates yet.

[Jordan Hielo]

"Somewhat. It's what you really first learn what to do." Jordan smiled. "You just get some speed, jump in the air while moving in a circle, and land with your skates straight so you don't fall."

[Lorelei]

Lorelei nodded, trying to remember all the steps. "Can you please demonstrate the move for me?"

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan nodded, going to one end of the rink once more. As slow as he could, he made his was to the opposite side. Once he was halfway there, he bent his knees and jumped off of the ice. He twirled around just twice, and landed while skating in a way he wouldnt fall. "It's easy once you get the hang of it," Jordan grinned. "Your turn!"

[Lorelei]

Lorelei nodded, she skated to the other side of the ice and then faced Jordan. She began to skate towards the center of the ice, jumping up, and making a half turn, not quite a full turn but very close.

[Jordan Hielo]

"Good, Lorelei! Just keep practicing until you can turn completely! It's all in how the way you move your arms, and hips, and body in general." Jordan smiled.

[Lorelei]

Lorelei nodded. She was able to dance no problem, but skating didn't come as easily. She put a smile on her face. "Landing is hard. How do I do that without falling?"

[Jordan Hielo]

"Practice, basically. I don't know the exact technique, you just kind of...learn it one day, I suppose." he shrugged, doing laps around the rink.

[Lorelei]

Lorelei laughed. " I suppose we will have to go skating together a few more times until I have it mastered."

[Jordan Hielo]

"I suppose," Jordan smiled softly, coming to a stop right infront of Lorelei.

[Lorelei]

Lorelei smiled at Jordan. "I never thought Ice skating would be so fun or difficult. It has been eye opening."

[Jordan Hielo]

Jordan chuckled. "Hey, I didn't know dancing would be so fun but difficult! So I thank you for that, Lorelei."

[Lorelei]

"Well, you are welcome then. I suppose we have both been taught an interesting new talent."

[Jordan Hielo]

"It seems!" Jordan grinned. He blushed slightly at the sight of the girl. Gosh, she really is pretty... His face got even more red with the thought.

[Lorelei]

Lorelei noticed Jordan staring intently at her. "Is there something on my face..?"
