She had sent Peter, her pet fire gecko, to go and live with her sister in Fidelite. It was for the best. Avaleur wasn't safe. But, instead of sending Benny to Fidelite as well, Namari sent the dragon into the mountains. Secretly, she taught him how to fight with what he had. Teeth, claws, tail, anything he could fight with. He was practically full-grown, and knew how to fly. As Namari followed the path up the mountain, she knew what she would finally try to do today.
She would finally ride a dragon.
Confident and determined, the woman made her way through the mountains until she reached a sort of clearing at the side of one of the mountains. She grinned spotting Benny.
"Alright! Time to learn how to fly with you!" the elven woman yelled out with a grin. Benny was curled up in a ball in the center of the clearing, but upon hearing Namari's voice his head lifted and he seemed to smile. He rushed over to the girl, nuzzling his head against her arm. "Hey! You'll push me over!" she chuckled, patting the large head.
"Let's get started!" she smiled, hand to her hip as she thought. After a few moments, Benny tilted his head, wondering what the woman was doing. "...I just realized I have no clue what I am doing..." she laughed awkwardly. She just stood staring at Benny, thinking of ways to go about this.
Dadramora had been scouting out Goria's stronghold from afar when he heard Namari's voice. It was faint, but audible. He decided to take a break and travel towards her voice, when he saw her and a small dragon that looked like Gonra. One of his descendents? Had to be. With an excitement in his body he flew down and landed next to Namari. The golden dragon puffed some smoke at him, whether on purpose or on accident he didn't know. "What'cha doin' Namari?" He asked.

"Teaching Benny how to fly! Wait a minute, I did not meet you two yet have I...hmm, well, this is my dragon Benny," Namari grinned. The dragon stared at Dadramora in wonder.
Dadramora laughed at Namari. #Hello Benny.# He mindspoke to the dragon. "Well, it seems like you have him accustomed to people. But how about people with wings, or dragons?" He asked.

"I've not really seen any dragons since the battle," Namari chuckled. "And I've had the kings boyfriend fly around with him a few times. So he is used to those with wings. Just not dragons."
Dadramora nodded, then walked up to Benny. Sani, the dragon sealed in the gem around his neck, reached out and touched Benny's mind with his own. "So what are you trying to do with him now?" He asked.

"Yeah, I was going to try riding him today. I don't have a saddle, I looked around town and no one really knows how to make one," the elven woman shrugged.
"Yes, dragon saddles are rare to find. I think that the scales are soft enough for a few times. Then you may find yourself without any skin on your thigh. I will make you a saddle for him if you would like." Dadramora said, patting Benny on the muzzle.

"Ahh, really? Thank you!" the elven woman grinned. "I would appreciate that! Though I have to wonder, sure it'd be cool to be able to ride a dragon, but in battle it's practically pointless. Is there anything a rider can really do in a battle? I mean, I am a skilled horseback rider, and know how to fight on horse."

Dadramora thought carefully before answering. "A rider can do more than you think. Yes, it is true that a dragon does a lot of the fighting, but you are more able to see attacks from behind and use magic to block it, or fend off attacks from above. Should you be fighting another dragon rider, then if the two dragons fight each other in close quarters you can attack the enemy rider or their dragon, and you can heal your dragon on the fly. You can be the eyes the dragon doesn't have. Plus, you don't need to be on a dragon in order to be a rider. You could be on the ground fighting while using some of his power to assist you, or could be a distraction on the ground while he swoops in for the kill. Or he could be fighting in the air while you handle the ground. The number of possibilities is endless for how you ride a dragon. I'd recommend learning how to use a spear, or finding a way to get your arm back and wield a shield as well. My offer still stands."

Dadramora's brow furrowed, thinking. His muscles seemed to be in great shape, and he was actually a bit larger than he should be for as old as he was. "He seems to be in great shape, but I can't tell as much as a dragon can." He said. With that, he asked Sani to come out of the gem and assess Benny's strength. He agreed, and Dadramora backed away from the two. He stripped down to his undergarments, then turned and took those off. Then his gem started glowing and enveloped him in a red light, and in thirty seconds there was a large, red dragon standing in the midst of the other two. It dwarfed Benny in sheer size and power.
"Hello young one. I am Sani, second born to the Elder One. If you would, I would have you breathe fire." He said calmly.

Benny stared at the dragon, but surprisingly he only stared in interest, not in fear or astonishment. Looking away, he aimed at the side of one mountain and readied a flame. He unleashed the large breath of fire, sending it spiraling towards the mountain, it hit, and a large 'boom' was echoed.
Namari grinned at her dragon, placing a hand on her hip as she watched the two.

Sani furrowed his brow, then snorted. Small jets of blood red fire erupted from his nostrils as he did so. "You have the uncontrolled flame of your ancestor. Gonra never really did gain full control over it." He said. With that he repositioned himself, knocking over a few trees as he did so, and aimed at the same spot on the mountain. Sani took a deep breath and sent a condensed jet of flame flying towards the mountain. It hit the side of it and drilled a hole into it until it erupted out of the side. "You have great power for a normal dragon, but you need to learn to control it. Hell, if you get good enough at it you may be able to do something none of your forefathers could do. You may be able to breath your elemental flame." Sani said. He grunted again and then unleashed a jet of what should have been fire up into the sky. Instead it was lava, which he made disappear after breathing it, and after that was white fire. That fire turned blue, then invisible. The heat was great enough that it bothered even Sani.

Namari winced at the heat, wiping her forehead.
Benny just seemed to smile, as odd as that sounded. He was fairly happy, and pleased that he was actually powerful. He only felt himself just regular, even though he didn't know what a true regular dragon really was. He just stared up at the flame Sani had released, surprised by it's heat.
Sani halted his fire, then turned and met Benny's eyes. "Let us see how strong you are." With that, Sani launched himself powerfully into the air and beat his wings until he was a few hundred yards in the air. "Come!"
