Welcome to Avaleur, a medieval fantasy roleplay site where anything is a possibility. Face bandits, or knights. Work your way up to become part of Avaleur's castle, or try your luck at being a thief. Own a shop, be a guild master, start a family. The possibilities are endless.
Felicity floated through the town, twirling and giggling. It felt good to return to Avaleur! She was happy to see her old friends, and to make some new ones out of the new people in town!
She looked around carefully. There had been quite a few changes since she had left. Some good, some bad. But either way, it felt good to be home.
Dante sat reading by the fountain as usual, flipping through pages quickly. He wore his old brown jacket, and his black hat that covered his horns. The fountain was in tact from the battle, luckily, only a few knicks and cracks here and there.
The boy yawned, closing his book and looking around. That's when he spotted Felicity. He hadn't seen his friend in so long, it brought great joy to his heart. "Felicity! Hey!" he yelled over, standing up and waving like a mad man to her.
"I've been very good! How have you been?" he asked as he grinned, engulfing the girl in a hug. "When I was ressurected I was surprised to have heard you had left!"
"Well, you see, I, uhm...well, at the massacre a while ago, when Denzel went around killing a lot of people, I died. And a few months later, a demon resurrected me. Now I'm part demon!" he laughed, shrugging, and taking off his hat to reveal his two horns.
Felicity laughed awkwardly. "My, how embarrassing for me, upon seeing your face I had completely forgotten that you had ever died.. I should be more careful about that kind of thing!" she said, looking at his horns. "Well, I'm glad you're back!"
"It's not a problem, I would have misplaced the memory in your position as well," Dante grinned, placing the hat back on. "And thank you, I'm glad to be back. So whereabouts have you traveled?"
"Oh, where do I even begin?" The girl laughed. "Just about everywhere! My favourite was a place called Meadowdam Springs, it was a full town of fairies! It was quite surprising but fun!"
"Ahh, really? It's good to go to a town just with your race in it sometimes, makes you feel at home," Dante chuckled, sitting beside the fountain once more, jesturing for Felicity to do the same. "You did not arrive at the best time though, my dear, there is a war going on between Avaleur and an evil god-person."
"Yes, quite...there's many new people in town, Phillis is king, Namari lost an arm, theres a group of knights now, but the knights seem to be growing smaller and smaller in numbers. The werewolf pack outside the town is more dangerous than ever, keep that in mind when you're in the forest, there's also more criminal activity. All in all, everyone is sticking close together to get through these troubling times!" Dante grinned.
"What, Phillis becoming king isn't good?" Dante laughed loudly. "Well, we built farms, and the castle is as good as new, with a lot of things to use for training and such. Things like that."
"Yeah! A lot of new shops and such as well, Avaleur will soon become a popular destination for tourists, travelers and settlers! Well, once the war is over at least," the boy put his books back in his bookbag, and placed the bag on the ground beside him.
"Well, it's survived a lot! Avaleurians wouldn't ever let their home be completely demolished! We've been through WAY too much shit to let that happen!" Dante grinned.
