"Yes, you are. Maybe we'll getcha a real ribbon tomorrow." Roe said with a smile. Tabatha ran past him and scooped Adriana up, then tickled her a little bit.
Roe smiled and pushed open the door to the inn, walking in with Tabatha following close behind holding Adriana's hand. The bartender started to say something, but Tabatha threw him a sack of gold and he immediately shut up. Roe walked past everybody until he got to their room. He pulled out a key and unlocked it, then pushed it open.
Adriana yelped with glee. She was overjoyed to see thing she hadn't in weeks, a bed, fireplace, carpet, it was all too good to be true. "Home?! You mean I can live here!"
"Of course. I can't very well let the newest member of the family sleep on the streets. But before you even touch the bed, go take a bath." Roe said. Tabatha ran past him and swept the girl up again, taking her into the small bathroom area. Roe sighed, then walked out into the tavern area. He went up to a man with a little girl at his side who was drinking a liter of ale. "Hey, I'll give you this purse of silver if you give me one of her changes of clothes." Roe said. The man's eyes got huge, and he quickly ran to his room and was back in less than a minute. "H-here ya' go!" He shouted. Roe traded the man and returned to his room. The clothes were a bit big for Adriana, but she'd grow into them. For now, they were better than the rags she had on earlier.
Adriana smiled so big when she heard the words family member. It made her so happy.
The two ladies were then in the bathroom alone and Tabatha set Adriana on the floor. She went to the tub and turned the nozzles to fill it with water. She then began to undress the little girl. "You sure do like dirt don't ya?!" she teased Adriana. The little girl made a sour face type smirk, "I do not! It just like sticks to me good." she said as she raised her arms while Tabatha pulled her dress off. Tabatha tried not to laugh but the face did it for her and she chuckled for a second, "Well how about we unstick you from it?" she said as she lifted Adiana up and into the water. Adriana's eyes grew wide when her body entered the slightly cold water (the pub rooms don't exactly have the best quality), and what areas the did get wet immediately began to take some of the filth off. Even without soap dirt began to come off the little girl, once Tabatha started to larger her with the soap her brown hair began to look like its natural blonde and her skin became more white. Adriana was having fun building a beard with the bubbles, they were slightly brown from the dirty water as well. Making it look even more like a beard.
((you can post as Tabatha now XD I don't want to take all the fun))
Roe flopped down on one of the beds, finding himself tired from the graveyard earlier and now with this little girl. Very tiring day it was.
Tabatha lifted the girl's arms and scrubbed her down head to toe. The water was almost black by the time the bath was done, so Tabatha lifted her out and emptied the tub. Then she refilled it and rinsed it, then dumped it and refilled it again with clean water. Tabatha lifted Adriana up again and set her in the tub. What was left over from the first bath immediately started to come off in the clean water when she started to clean the girl again. After all that was done, Tabatha splashed Adriana in the face with a little bit of non soapy water, laughing as she did so.
Tabatha smiled. "Roe may not seem like it, but he has a soft heart. He tries to help when he can, and even when he can't he finds somebody who can." She said.
-meanwhile-
Roe sat up, sensing the presence of his 'employer'. The face of the god who was imprisoning his people appeared in front of him.
"Kill the one with eyes as powerful as an ox... Then kill the one with tattoos of power..." Then he was gone. Roe furrowed his brow. That was fairly unclear... He shook it off and stood, then he walked into the washroom and laid the clothing next to Tabatha. Then he walked out, thinking about who these people were.
Adriana smiled as she got out of the tub and pulled the new shirt over her head. She didn't mind the longer sleeves and just rolled them up to her arms. "He seems nice... You do too!" she piped in.
Adriana hadn't noticed Roe's entrance into the bathroom, in fact her and Tabatha had been walking out of the bathroom while they were talking do she hadn't noticed that the two of them had walked into the main living room while Roe walked back inside from wherever he had went. "Oh," she said a little startled and embarrassed of her being unaware of where she was, "Well you do! You two are the nicest people EVER!" she giggled.
