She sat on the bench, watching the new arena contestants practice battle. Namari yawned, growing bored, and looked around.
There were barely any arena contestants these days, making it hard for them to plan any battles, or tournaments. They would need 8 people for three rounds of a tournament. 16 for four rounds.
There hadn't been a tournament in a while.
She leaned back against the wall, shutting her eyes and sighing. She was bored, and grumpy, and wanted to go home. After six years away from her country, Namari finally wanted to go back. She was homesick. But she assumed it was much too late for her to go back.

Her eyes shot open, looking up at the boy. "What the fuck do you want?!" she snapped, already in a bad mood. Thinking over what she said, her face softened.
"Ahh...sorry, I suppose. Not in the greatest move. But what do you want?" Namari grumbled, twirling a strand of her hair in her finger and staring at Phillises feet.

"Ahh...suppose I'm just feeling homesick, is all..." Namari moved her sword off the bench, and proped the claymore up against the wall beside her. "Do you need anything specific? Other than that?" She did not want to dwell on the topic. She hated seeming weak to others.

"Oh, well. I suppose I'm feeling homesick as well. " Phillis said, as he sat beside Namari. " Although you're not the first person I'd choose to talk to, for some reason I think you're the one to understand me the most."

Phillis smiled. " Thanks. My older brother could be a jerk sometimes but he looked out for me and always helped me. My little sister was cute, a little bratty but she's a kid so it's only normal."
He twiddled his thumbs as he realized just how much he missed them.

"Oh yes. I do miss her a fair ammount. I would have taken her with me, but she had a life there." Namari shrugged. "I couldnt take her from her home just because of my selfish reasons."

"They were alright, I suppose. I didn't see a lot of them. My father could be harsh at times. I don't blame him, he was always busy. My mother was perfect though, not a flaw in the world." Phillis explained.

"My parents were okay. My mother was a good woman, always having time to listen to her children. She accepted my love for Peter, unlike my father. I truly hated him." Namari sighed.
"He never accepted me for who I was. My mother did, but not my father. The funny thing is, other than in looks I'm nothing like my mother. Exactly like my father." she chuckled. "My sister on the otherhand was exactly like my mother."
