lmao! All my cosplays are sewn. Except if I am super lucky, like in the case of my Futuba cosplay, I will already have the clothing in my closet and then all I need is a wig.

But yes, cosplay can be very pricey. Wigs are my favourite part (: I like props too!

lol true! Well, I'm sure you'll do fine! It can be frustrating, and hard. But never give up and keep your back straight! Nothing hurts more than sewing with a sore back LOL

Definitely! My favourite thing about cosplays though, definitely has to be being able to re-use wigs or different parts of the costume. It makes it so much easier! (:

XD well... i havent gotten much accomplished... i have my karin cosplay pretty much done ( but apparently it looks more like an anko cosplay..) , my Tf2 scout , my haruhi cosplay, and i think my team rocket cosplay is almost done. i havent gotten much done. i dont have any wigs yet. i had a wig, but it was crap. ive done a sasori cosplay from naruto, and i cut my hair, bleached it, and dyed it red. it turned out well!

im actually sick right now, so its a bit difficult to think XD my fluttersky cosplay needs wings and a wig. my Xion cosplay is done, but i need a new cloak. i even have the epic blue contact lenses.

my chell cosplay wont be hard to make and ill get that accomplished very fast. My friend alex is into portal cirrently.

lol alot of the people at the conventions have more complete... my cosplays are kinda....cruddy. i try though. lol when i was haruhi at fan expo, i didnt get any pictures taken. at anime north a few people took my picture though. and at anime north, i jumped into a few TF2 shoots as the scout.

I can't really say much, since I've only seen one of your cosplays, but I thought it looked really good! (: Not as many people take photos at Fan expo. There's definitely a lot more at Anime north.

The more cosplays you do, the more you learn! And another is people are very picky about details, so they love when the cosplay is 100% accurate. I've noticed people would tell me "You are the best Panty cosplayer I've seen! The only one with the red earrings!" and I would be surprised, because earrings are such a small detail, but people go nuts for it!

XD yeah ive heard about people who are very detail picky. i happen to be like death the kid...i get depressed if its not symmetrical.

People try, and thats good. it doesnt have to be 100% accurate. people like customizing their cosplays, and thats a good thing! Its good for people to wear cosplays that arent exactly complete, too.

My team rocket cosplat just needs a shirt, gloves, a black belt, some pokeballs, and a few pokemon plushies.

i have this cute black hat with a bow that i was going to use XD ill be wearing it on the winter, so im putting leggings under the shorts. i might do a black tank top with fishnet under it ( long sleeved fishnet shirt).

its just a random custom cosplay XD AND ITS NOT AN ACCURATE TEAM ROCKET COSPLAY!!! <3 its basicly a well put together closset cosplay! (wow we are off the thread topic! XD )

But to add to this new topic. Cosplay is about fun! You don't have to be 100% accurate unless that's what you want to do. I'm not picky about other peoples cosplays, but I am very picky about my own details.

Its like when i was recently directing my first commTECH video. I was so frustrated because we couldnt film where I wanted to. My partner, he is just on of the actors. its only me and him. I have to come up with every idea, make the script, find the right angles to film at, edit it, AND upload it to MY youtube account...then its ME who has to make sure everything is perfect befor giving the teacher the video link.... i am the one who has to give up most of my lunch to edit the video.
