He nodded with a grin, "I'll be sure to ask if I need any help with anything. So who's this resistance maker? And what's he like? I've not seen him around here, is he Avaleurian?"
"His name is Raymond, and he is not from here. Somewhere in the middle of the ocean on an island. But he is honest and kind, seems to be straight-forward. He is very determined. One of the most determined people I have ever seen. He just doesn't quit." Magnus chuckled, that boy sure did some crazy stuff too. "He is, well let's call it creative. He finds some way to do things, maybe not the best but he'll find at least some way."

Jordan smiled softly. "Good. I hope to meet him soon. Is he at the village? I suppose I'll meet him there. Though I do hope I don't startle him. A random stranger walking into a resistance hideout might be bad."
Under his mask Magnus smiled, "Need not worry about that, he will know you are coming. And it will be very likely you will see him. If not at the village on your way too it. He leaves in the morning to come into town."

"Ohh? He knows I am coming?" with a big grin Jordan added, "So I guess you figured I would say yes. I do wish Kavanah were still here, he'd have loved to help out a resistance." The elemental mostly said the last part to himself.
Looking up with a smile he nodded, "I can't wait to meet this man then. And I can't wait to fight this storm."

The man chuckled slightly. "I wouldn't have been able to say no if I wanted to. So I do suppose your hunch was right. So do you have any clue on the whereabouts of the tear?"
"..." The man was silent for a moment. Always a touchy subject. "We have a few..." it was just better not to talk about it and the reason for it he would explain to Jordan. "The reason why we stay hidden Jordan, is not because we are shy. It is because we are fearful. We are hunted like creatures. Searched out for our knowledge of the tear. We are in danger of death each and every time I show myself to anyone because just like I watch you, there are people that try to watch us..."

Jordan's lips tightened. "They must be some pretty selfish people to wish death upon the Almorites, huh. I mean, you're only doing what's best for...well, everything. Power hungry assholes don't deserve the tear, and it's unfair for any Almorite to succumb to death by these mad men."
Magnus nodded agreeing. "It is a sad state these men are in. One of the reasons the tear is better lost. Or, well given back I suppose." he wondered if that last thinking out loud statement would raise question in Jordan as he doubted that the elemental knew of that possibility. He doubt anyone besides his people knew.
"There was once a story told about the ability to give the tear back to the goddess. To take it up to her and then having a different source of her power. It is very vague and I would imagine the story has changed throughout the years of being told. Unless you know someone who lived much longer ago I doubt it will be very clear."

Jordan shook his head. "I know of no one who has lived long enough to say of a different story. What does the tear look like, anyways? And...what is the extent of its powers?"
"A small blue stone that emits just a bit of light. That is what has been told anyhow. Its powers are simple, you gain the power of the goddess. Your will becomes hers and her blessing is upon you." A very dangerous thing in the wrong hands.
"If i was to guess I would say no, no one has it. But I do believe it is possible on could have somehow stumbled upon it and so it is a possibility." that thought had never really struck him.....what if someone did have it?

"If anyone has it, well...they must not be a horrible person. Avaleur would be gone if that was the case. Or taken over," he ran a hand through his hair, and leaned back slightly, leaning on his hands.
"That is true, and if someone had it then this storm would not be an issue. So I would assume more to the thought of it still being hidden than not." Magnus shifter his weight from the leg he was on to the other.
