A Morning to Relax

"Maybe it will be soon," Namari reassured. "You never know."

Shrugging, denzel put her hands in her pockets. "I hope its soon..." Pulling her hands out of her pocket, she walked over to namari, handing her something. "Here, i wanted to give you something to congratulate you on becoming queen."

It was a silver chained necklace with a beautiful Yellow topaz crystal hanging on it. The crystal had a dragon etched on the back of it, but you cant notice from looking at the front of the crystal though.

Namari gently took it, wide eyed. She examined it thoroughly, "Thank you very much Denzel...you didn't have to get me this...it's beautiful."

She gently placed it around her neck, and smiled gently. "Thank you."

" There is a dragon etched on the back of it. I actually did the etching myself. Although, you could probably afford almost anything you want now... you could probably afford much nicer things. " she twiddled her thumbs, turning away from namari.

"Actually, I use most of the money I get for the city. Any dresses, or jewelry I get are gifts. I'd hate to spend anything on myself when the city needs it more," Namari smiled, looking at the etching. "Besides, I like this much more. After all, it comes from one of my best friends."

She clutched the necklace with her hand. Now she had more jewelry she would wear forever. Denzel's necklace, and Steele's bracelet. And she still kept the proposal ring Peter had given her.
