I'm new around here so please be nice to me! I've been hunting the web for something like this for a while so when I found the boards I was pretty excited. So yeah see you IC!

BTW how do I add an avatar? I've never used proboards before

Okay, so if you have an image for an avatar already, then change the size of it to 100x100. Then upload the redone image to photobucket. Once you do that, go to the image on photobucket and copy the URL.
Go to your profile, click 'modify profile', and scroll down until you hit the avatar options. Post the URL in the avatar URL section. On the two options below it (( avatar width, avatar height )) put 100 into each of them.
If changing your image makes it look too small (( example- 100x100 on the head only picks up half the face or something )) then you can extend it. 200x200, 300x300. I think as long as the width and height are the exact same, if you post the URL to it and make the avatar width and height labeled both as 100 then you're all set.

If you still have problems with it, or I haven't explained it well, I'll either look it up online, or one of the other members will explain it. Have a good one!

Welcome! Man hahaha not gonna lie I am pretty excited for this new member. Especially if they are more active than the others we got since they haven't been in in like foreve XD


But anywayAzeurid, Welcome and I hope you have fun. I mind these sites a bit more user friendly, as they aren't cluttered with a bunch of junk, the threads with rules and about is easy to find, and everyone here is pretty nice. Sure we had a few ughs... I won't name names but I think everyone knows, but even with that I think the site was awesome! I hope you enjoy it as much as I!

Alright, they basically work like my other site, so I'll just sort of copy-paste what I've had in mind here:

With a high post count comes high stats. If you have less posts, but you have paid your characters money to raise your stats, you might win- if your stats are higher than theirs.
Levels work the same, if you have the same level you are around the same strength level. If your stats are different, but you have the same level, then there is a most likely equal chance of either of you winning.

So does someone manually change them? And do they change based on what happens IC? Sorry or so many questions, trying to get my head around it!

EDIT: Just noticed I've gone up 5 points as I've posted again, so do they auto go up based on how many posts you have?

They are changed by how many posts you make. Both money and stats and the like. So not manually. Though I can change it, which is where the money comes in if you want to up your stats. They don't change by what happens IC.

So lets say you want to make your characters defense better than it is. You would give me a coin for every point I move that stat up. That make sense?

Oh thanks for approving me Namari! another question! I notice some people have stuff under their avatar like Roland, you have "Wisdom is Strength, Valor equals Honor, Courage is the mastery of Fear.[A1i:1]" - what does the A1i:1 bit mean?

I wondered whether it was some elaborate way you guys had of representing the date when the quote was said... But perhaps its an artefact of the forum script that allows you to put something there!

It must of happened when we changed skins. You joined when the new skin was already made but all of te writing in other characters was on an older skin so I guess it must have effected it somehow.

I believe it was because of the stats thing I made. I tried to edit it out on everyones, but...yeah that didn't work XD So I'm leaving it until I can fix it!
