((Takes place during the wolf attack thread but of course not within it))
Delliks hiked up in the woods of the mountains. He wanted to get a good view of this land, the land that his family had once lived. He was about half away up, the hike was a challenging one, and he of course had refused the option if renting a guide for the day.
He huffed as he took a break and sat on one if the rocks. He faced out back toward the city and saw what he could. Not much, it would seem he was wrong, he was not even close te half way...
Envelon sighed to herself and smacked herself mentally. Why was she so obsessed about fighting this guy? She had followed him the entire way, which was easy considering she was half elf, and had taken to the trees not long ago. That made her fall a bit behind but she caught up when he sat on a rock. From a tree directly behind him Envelon perched.
"Rocks are uncomfortable, be better off laying on the ground." She called out to him.
The man smiled and closed his eyes for a moment, he knew that voice well already, without turning around, "Ah you are right, but if I were to be ambushed then being on the ground would make survival a heck of a lot harder."
"Not if you know what the hell you're doing. Remember when we first met yesterday? It isn't that hard to be off the ground in a second or so." Envelon dropped from the tree and landed with her legs bent to absorb the blow. "And where are you headed off to so soon?"
"Yes but an ambush is much different then someone wanting a good conversation." he chuckled, not to mention there was one of him an ambush could have many people, "I am heading to the top, or at least close to the top." he looked high up as far as the forest would let him, "I want a good view of the country."
"It is. Ambushes are easier to deal with." She said shortly. "But there isn't much to see up there, just a city and a forest with a lake. That's about it."
"I didn't realize conversion with me was such a burden," he chuckled.
"You should learn to really appreciate the beauties of the land M'Lady," he stood and brushed himself off, "And looking about should always include watching the sunset."

"I never said it was with you. Just people in general. At least you have a half assed idea of what you're talking about." She looked at the land carefully, seeing many places where battle would be easy for her. "And I examine the land more than you know, if not for different reasons."
Delliks smiled, "Well I would imagine something for battle is what you look for, sounds like the bloody thing is your life. Nothing you can do about it I suppose." He looked down at the ground, something had been stuck in his head ever since yesterday, ever since he went to the graveyard and met his grandfather....

"It is my past, not my life. Battle and fighting for enjoyment are two seperate ends of a similar spectrum. So tell me, what is YOUR life?" Envelon said, curious.
"Of course, you have to stop and look at even the little things if you ever wish to begin to fathom the greatness of this world." he looked down and at Envelon, "And you? Are you enjoying it?"
"I don't want to fathom the entire world, only what lies in front of me. There need not be enjoyment, only survival. Enjoyment is for rich people and farmers who desperately need it." Envelon said. She didn't really want to accept it, but she was short sighted and didn't have a great outlook on life due to hers being nothing but murdering others to survive.
Delliks laughed at the idea of him being rich, that would have been nice. "Then what happens if you need to focus on what is on your sides?" he smirked joking with the girl.
"So you do try and look at everything?" he raised an eyebrow in a joking manner. "You don't just try and fathom what is straight ahead after all. Subconsciously that is."
"And I am important then?" he asked with a smirk, "I only ask because you seem to be following me around. He chuckled anxious for her response to this one.
"You deny my offer of fighting for nothing but enjoyment and I wish to find out why and what it takes to get you to draw that blade. You are third on my list of most important items." She said with a slight grin.
