Walter smiled a smug sort of smile. "So how long have you been here?" Walter asked, as they made their way over to the water once more. Walter liked Delliks, believe it or not. He seemed like a nice fellow.

Walter nodded, rotating his hurt wrist. Least it wasn't hurting as much. More or less numb. "Lucky you, then. What made you decide to come to Avaleur?" the demon questioned as he stretched out his back, looking over at the other man.
They had made it to the well now and Delliks tied the bucket to the rope before lowering it down.
"It's the place of my ancestors. A land filled with legend and stories, maybe it was the kid inside me wanting the adventures that I was told of as a lad. Fighting gluttons and giants. Bandit armies and traitorous kingdoms." He shrugged, "Hearing the stories made me want to see the land that was of my elders."

"Ahh, so your elders were Avaleurian!" Walter grinned. For some reason that made him smile. "I don't think its the kid inside you wishing to see your elders land, I believe it the Avaleurian blood inside you trying to return home!"

Walter grinned, "Maybe. Guess the only thing that really matters is you're here now!" The man held out a hand, ready to take the bucket off of his hands. "How are you liking being here so far?"

"Really? I was in belief Core was a very beautiful place," Walters eyebrow was raised, as he held the bucket tightly in his hand, weary not to drop it.
"No don't get me wrong Core has some beautiful sights as well, but Avaleur seems to have them all compacted closer together. It has a wonderful blend of many views and sights. Core may have larger and perhaps more extravagant views, but you have to travel very far to see just one of them. Here they compliment eachother... It's awe inspiring."

Walter paused, thinking for a moment, before agreeing. With a nod he spoke up, "Yes, I do suppose that makes sense. Avaleur is quite beautiful, I've never really had much of a change of scenery til I cam here." When you were underground most of your life, that makes sense.
The two of them continued on their way to the stables, "It can be nice every once in a while. To change the view up a bit. Or maybe just your perspective eh?"
"Yes, your perspective. Something to redirect your thinking, keeps you sharp, allows your mind to expand and see things that give you that edge. The advantage over others."

"I do suppose I haven't really changed my perspective on anything then," the man laughed as they entered the stables once more. The smell irked the demon once more, but he ignored it, and continued on to pour water into the troughs.
"Ah well then you should look at something differently, no need to forever change your thinking. Only that moment will open you up to a great sight. Like deciding to the ink as Thunder may be thinking rather than what you are thinking."
"Yes I do, as long as it is passed in by using it that is." He smirked, "And why not use it? Share it with the less fortunate, we could al use some knowledge every now and then eh?"
