Rosier couldn't help but put on a genuine smile, and laugh.
"No it's not! It's heaven on earth, good sir! You know what's gross? Alcohol, ugh, I can't stand the stuff," he was relieved that the conversation was not on the past any more, though Rosier did not notice at all Delliks catching on.
"Don't be dissing the drink, there is nothing wrong with tea," Rosier continued to smile, placing his hands behind his head as he leaned up against a pillar comfortably.
Delliks raised one of his eyebrows before shaking his head, "I guess my theory stands still, I must admit I had figured you for some sort of a tender. With your attire and such." he had figured Rosier had worked at a bar.
"No, no I must admit you are right, nothing wrong with tea....just with drinking it." he chuckled some more.

Rosier raised an eyebrow, then grinned.
"Mostly I like the style of outfit to be honest. Though I have waited on people before, but never been a tender. Really though I'll take any job I can get while traveling. I'm sure you've felt that way before, hmm?"
This made Delliks burst into laugher. Why? Because he had hit the nail on the head! That was exactly him. Scrounging for work, just getting by with whatever jobs he could find.
"That would be how I feel all the time as of late." he explained after he had calmed himself down.
"In this land there is not much need for a hired hand, everyone seems to be tough enough on their own. All the good to them but, it does hurt the mercenary business."

It was a close call then, that Rosier had not tried to attack Delliks. He prayed on the weak- not the strong. And definitely not mercenaries.
"I suppose so. Maybe it'd be a good idea for you to join an army or something. Although I suppose that would ruin the traveling for you, hmm? It would also be a nice idea to go to a place ridden with crime," he gave the man ideas, adding a shrug afterwards.
He did not know how bad Avaleur had it, nor did he realize people were not as lazy in this country as to hire someone toprotect them if they could do it themselves.
"Your suggestions well be considered. Thank you." he nodded. Delliks didn't like idea of joining an army to fight for a country he knew little about besides it's history. Nor did he wish to leave. He had just begun to explore the lands of his grandfather, it would be a shame to leave just because of the issue of money.

"Well, if it makes you feel better if I'm ever in a pickle, you'll be the first person I'll call," Rosier chuckled, and placed a hand over his mouth as he yawned.
The sky had turned dark, the light from the fire flickered off of the pillars and the trees. It made Rosier's sight even worse. He figured he could make it home by using his other senses, but it would take quite a while.
"So are money issues the reason why you're sleeping out here and not inside somewhere?" he asked, rubbing his arms and shimmying closer to the fire.
"Yes, they are," he sighed, "But don't fret. I'll be fine out here. It'll take a lot more than the worst snowseason I've ever seen to take me." he smirked.
"Are you heading out soon then?" he asked as he saw the man yawn.

"Perhaps. I'll stay for a moment longer- I'd rather not keep you from your rest. And besides, even in the darkest nights, it will get darker. I'd rather not be out that late," he grinned, shrugging.
Rosier began fixing the collar of his shirts as he spoke once more, "How long do you usually stay in one town for?"
Delliks thought hard on that question, was there a actual normal time in which he staid? He supposed this was his first time traveling completely alone as well as traveling without work.
"That all depends on what kind of job I end up getting."

"What kind of jobs would be worth your time to stay longer then?" he asked, curious. More or less curious about his line of work. How weary he might have to be of him.
"I fight for peace. Anything really, but in the past I've tended to do things that protected the weak. Don't understand me. I am no hero.." He says this with almost a dark undertone. A darker manner.

Rosier once again raised an eyebrow, before fiddling with the end of his sleeve where his scar rested. What was that about?
"No worries. I suppose heroes wouldn't ask to be payed," Rosier thought, pursing his lips. As that though crossed his mind, he had to chuckle- there weren't many heroes in the world. But a whole shit ton of cruel people like himself.
He relaxed a bit knowing Rosier understood him. Too many times people thought of him as some 'hero' which he didn't like to think he was at all. He could never live up to those standards and he didn't really want to either.
"No," he chucked slightly, "No they wouldn't wan to be paid. At least not much that is."

"See that's the thing, everything comes with a price. I don't see why someone would want to help people if they didn't benefit in some way. For example, I'\m sure a ton of so-called 'heroes' did what they did for fame, or a girl, or whatever, you know?" Rosier bit the inside of his lip once more as he thought.
Once you got him on a topic he felt strongly about, he went on and on. For example, he strongly believed there was hardly such thing as a true hero. Therefor- he was going on about it.
"I mean think of it this way....I just don't believe there are many people out there that would risk their lives without payment. I believe a real hero would make sure no one knew what he did."
Delliks smiled, "I think I have something that may further your thinking. When I was young my grandmother always told me, 'Delliks, heros will be remembered, but legends live forever'."
It was never enough to be a hero. He always wanted to be a legend. And legends, well they did thing a bit differently.
"I understand what you are saying. And much of it I agree with, now the hard question... Which do you think she was?" He asked pointing back behind him to the statue.

He looked at her with a frown, scratching at his chin.
"Well to be honest, I don't know the story, so I couldn't say. I am also in belief that all gods and goddesses are selfish in one way or another. Or at least spiteful," the man smiled slyly with a shrug. How else would he have become a vampire so horribly?
"Do you know the story at all?" he asked curiously, stretching out his back and arms, peering at the man sideways.
Delliks nodded, "Yes chap, I know the story. But you don't need the story to understand her."
He gazed at the statue, "Have you ever looked at something to let it speak to you? Absorb her for all her artistic worth. Was she just made, or was she expressed, breathed out of the marble or whatever fine stone that that is. Can you feel the emotion of her, can you grasp an understanding by just looking at her face? That is where you'll find your answer eh?" he chuckled slightly.
