Walter stared at Steele for a few moments longer, before chuckling. "You are right about a few of those things." He said firmly. Walter closed his eyes. Slowly his horns and wings faded. His hair became more tame, his hands returned to normal, and his body relaxed. Opening his eyes, he frowned. "I'm...sorry, Steele."
"Din't worry aboot it." Steele quickly says. "Damn.." He says to himself. That last thing that Walter said really got Steele's respect. Maybe he could learn a thing or two from him. "Okay, so Walter are ye like two different people er are ye jus' playn' me fir a fool?"
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Walter chuckled. "Two different people, both halfs hate eahother mind you. When I emerged from the ground I took on the personality of the person closest to me dying. I didn't hurt you too bad, did I?"
"Aye it's goin ti take more than a simple near death experience ti hurt me." He says with a grin. "Nearest person dyin'?" Steele thought to himself. "Why yer that bonny lad Dante! Aye it makes since now. Ye din't by chance, happen ti have his memories would ye?"
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Walter frowned, shaking his head in a no. "I only take his personality and a little bit of his apperance. This Dante person seems to be quite popular though. Alot of the people I've talked to know him," he chuckled. "How did you know him?"
Steele scratched his head embarassed. "I kind've tried ti steal his money and mug him in thee forest. Can't really say I always saw eye ti eye with him but he never attacked when he had thee drop on me in thee forest. If he'd wanted ti ye'd be seeing burn scars all ova' my right side."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
"Of course I've thought aboot that." Steele quickly says. "Every nyte' I go ti bed I say, Rico yer gonna get yerself killed if ye keep doin' this. Ye need ti slow doon nd' get a job in hunting er fightin'."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

"...Rico,ehh?" Walter smiled. "Well, maybe you should change your career. It is your choice, after all. I'd give an arm and a leg to be able to get out of my job," he chuckled.

Walter smirked. "Basically I have multiple different jobs to do. One is to ease the passing of any dying person in Avaleur. There are a few more jobs I need to do, but my boss wants me to do other things for him, based on his mood. To make things simple for you, I work for a...very, very powerful person. A hint of who that is; the church hates him."

"Aye thee church hates A LOT of people." Steele laughed. "Tis part of thee ignorance of thee humans. Si din't keep me guessin'" Steele says relaxing by a tree. Though he did his best to not show it, transforming in broad daylight and then nearly being strangled wore him out. "Who is it ye be workin' fir?"
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Walter thought, trying to choose his words carefully. "Well...some call him the devil, others call him satan. There are many names for him, I think those are the most popular."
Steele was at a real loss for words. He was REALLY curious to know Walter now. "Si how did it work hinny? Were ye born into hell as an unborn er were ye a damned soul who was reborn as a demon? Well that's assumin' if ye know thee answer ti that."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

"I do not know exactly how I was created," he chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "All I know is that there are many ways a demon can be born. The ways you mentioned, just plainly being born from a demon, curses, things like that. I think I was just born from a demon."
"Aye." Steele said. He sure did have Dante's personality. Steele yawned. "Well din't stop there, what was it like in thee city of thee damned nd' tortured?" Steele joked.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

He laughed, "Well it isnt the best of places, of course. If your wondering, it's not where any dead spirits go. Beings up here can live down there, but you probably wouldnt want to. Us demons hold our kind above all others."
"It's nearly impossible to grow up happy there. But other than it being underground, cold, dark and the like, it's basically like living on the surface." Walter rubbed his arm, thinking.
"Huh." Steele said."Well if it's a prejudicial thing thin ye' win't see me doon there that's fir sure." He gave a tired smile. "Well lad, ye din't mind me askin' what twas' life like doon there do ye? Tis' not often one even meets a demon in his life."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
