[Seth]

As Kyle spoke the woman hesitated on what to do. But when kyle was about to leave it became clear that the least she could do was give him the answers he was in search for.
"..Wait." She ordered reluctantly. She ran a hand through her hair and sighed wondering how she was going to put this all together. Seth was completely clueless on what was happening, mostly because he got smacked the crap out of. He was confused because his mother had never hit him before, not like that.
"Yes, I know where the medallion came from and no i didn't steal it." She sighed. "Don't get the wrong idea, the last thing I want to do is lie to my own son, but I don't want him going down the road I went through especially now."
Seth raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?"
"No more lies Seth." She shakes her head. "It way my hope that you'd never learn the truth about me...but it's time you did. We all have to grow up sometime." She takes out a smoke and lights it with magic (still can't believe they had that back then)
She blows a puff of smoke.
"You smoke?" Seth asks. "That's your big secret?"
"No! I mean, yes! I mean-ugh." She facepalms. "Listen, Kyle, this family crest dates back to before you were even born."
"So how'd you get a hold of it?" Seth asks like a detective.
His mother just looks at him, and then back to Kyle.
"The coin you have...It was a crest of a clan of the highest prestige in Almora city, The Mosseaux'. (It's french)..there were two versions of it...members of the family..and inner circle.. .the family members were the highest class and they were animagus just like yourself however, both coins are very rare to come by." She could tell by the way his hair matched the exact color of his very large lupine form that Kyle was an animagus.
"The coin resembles that of a wolf because...well, they were the noblest of the family...but they were rare among bloodlines. The wolf is the most dominant animgaus form there is besides dragon..and that hasn't been around in centuries."
After a brief pause Seth asked inquisitively, "How do you know all this? When I talked to you this morning you couldn't even tell me where the Crux were located."
"Because," She points to her tattoo on her arm, "I was a member of the inner circle. There's a lot i haven't told you Seth."
"When was all this!?" Seth exclaims.
"A year or two before you were born." She sighs, "Kyle, I'm sorry to hear about your family..." She looks at the young man, "How did they die? If you don't mind me asking..."

Seth was still dumbfounded by all of this.

[Kyle Black-Sky]

Kyle took at step closser, looking at the tattoo. He almost couldnt speak. Finally, he knew a bit more about his true family...
"A werewolf named balius killed them, and stole something important from them. Since then, its fallen back into my possession. They fought and died saving me..." He frowned, looking away. "But its fine now. Its been years."

He didnt know what to say. Seth's mom knew... she knew more then anybody else. "So im guessing... Most of my life has also been a lie."

(Did you know that Mousseaux means sparkling in french? OTL Lol )

[Seth]

(Damn..no I did not lol, I should have just done wolf in french. Loup...you know what never mind lol)

Seth's mother looked off to the side as Kyle said the name of his parents killer. She shut her eyes hearing the bitter news for the first time trying to hold back anger.
"Damn him.." She shook her head and muttered. She was now coming to fully realize who she was talking to.
Seth had never heard who killed Kyle's parents, he too was a bit shocked. Steele's dad killed both of Kyle's parents? No wonder he and Kyle never got along.
"Your parents were good..honest people." She nodded. "I.." She was at a loss for words. "It was my fault...he only came after you to get back at me..." She says, she was becoming visibly upset.
"Woah woah woah, you knew Balius!? The Alpha Werewolf, you knew him!?" Seth exclaimed. "Wait, why would he be getting back at you? That makes no sense you said you lived in Paineston all your life." Seth says.
"That was only so you wouldn't know.." She says.
"Know what?" Seth asked. "What aren't you telling us?"
There was a brief pause.
She looked at Kyle and Seth and sighed. No more lying and running, it was time to come clean with them. "When I was a teenager I was young and..stupid," She shook her head, "My parents weren't exactly ..stable.. in a land that hated shifters. We were dirt poor, and the man that was supposed to be my father was..." It hurt just remembering what happened in her home decades ago.
"You told me you grew up on a farm..." Seth said.
"I know.." She nodded letting seth know that that was a lie. "I left that..hell hole when I couldn't take anymore and never looked back. I tried to live on my own, but i didn't have an education, I had no skills, I had nothing." She wiped the corner of her eye.
"I remember sleeping in churches and in alley ways just...starving." She sighs.
Seth couldn't believe what he was hearing, he was about to tear up himself.
"I got involved with the wrong people..did petty crime to get by..developed a drug addiction." She closed her eyes remembering her past, "I became apart of a brothel in Kraven for four years...it wasn't a great life...but it was the only one I had.." (Surprisingly they had those back then too.)
"I met Balius when he invaded the town...that was the first time I'd ever seen a werewolf." She states, "When the other girls flee'd I stayed...What did I have to live for? At that point, I thought I was going to die." She looks up holding back tears.
"But he took me in instead..he promised me I'd never have to sell my body ever again...he understood me..So i joined his pack and fell in love with him."
Seth in utter shock, he was just at a complete loss for words.
"Over the next two years I finally felt a place where I belonged. I joined the pack on the things they did..most of them I'm not proud of..He cleaned me up of my addiction...and Balius and I..." She placed a hand on her stomach. "We had child together...and we were very happy."
Seth put his hands on top of his head, "...Steele?"
Seth's mom laughed softly wiping her eyes again, "That's what Balius wanted to call him, pack names, but I chose Rico..Rico Amador."
She looks at Seth, "..I'm so..so sorry for not telling you-"
"Steele!? You're saying Steele is my..half-brother!?" Seth paced around, this was a whole lot to take in. He wondered how kyle was handling all this info so far.

(Don't worry, i don't want to overload one post with history so go ahead an post Kyle's reaction and i'll continue)

[Kyle Black-Sky]

Kyle went pale. 'Well... that explains why Seth is a pain sometimes...' he thought. as he clenched his fist. All this wasnt fair to seth... But it also didnt make much sense. What did this have to do with kyle?

"Im sorry to hear about your past..."

(Didnt know what to put, so im just going to keep things on my end short for now. lol Dont worry, ill find something kool for the clan name.)

[Seth]

She looked at kyle, "That's not even half of it...Years passed and things began to change. Balius began to change...he became cold towards Rico, disappeared at strange times..we began to argue, a lot. He put hands on me." She sighed, "So...eventually I left. I know it wasn't the best option but I was sort of like that back then.."
"Rico was too young to leave..." Seth realizes. "If a werewolf leaves a pack it will never learn control
Seth's mom nods, "I took what I had and went to Almora City...I had to get away and I was broken hearted. That was when I met him..." He looks at Kyle. "You look just like him." She almost puts a hand on his face but she pulls away. She gather herself,
"He was a noble, a member of the family. Alaric Moreau."
She waited to see what Kyle would say.

[Kyle Black-Sky]

His eyes widened, and all of a sudden it was harder to breathe. Just as she reached out, kyle pulled back. "I... I never met him... It cant be true. I was abandoned.... with a coin." With every word, he choked up, and backed up, more and more. Kyle's vision blurred, and his thoughts were all mixed up now. He was confuesed.

"No.... i-it cant be..." still, he comtinued backing up, tears now streaming down his face.

[Seth]

"He helped me in so many ways...after i left Balius I was very depressed, I became an alcoholic and nearly committed suicide..." She continued, "Alaric saved my life." She laughed softly but it quickly turned to tears as she spoke, "He made me feel, like I wasn't a complete waste...and he actually cared..." She wiped them away and took a deep breathe to gather herself again. "I learned his line of work and over time his family had come to accept me.. and we married." She smiled remembering.

"We started a family...we had two boys two years apart. Seth and.." She looked at Kyle, "You." She shook her head as more tears came, "I am so..very... sorry that we abandoned you." She says, "But at the time Seth was born..there was no possible way to keep both of you safe..I had to choose one and Seth was too young and..." She sighs, "We knew you would go to a great family...but I had no idea Balius would..." She wipes her tears. "Alaric's line of work..made him a lot of enemies...and Alaric almost died protecting us. My past was catching up to me..and i couldn't stand back and watch my whole family be destroyed...so I took Seth, and moved to Paineston. Alaric promised once he finished business...we would all reunite one day."

Seth was nearly sobbing at this point. He'd never heard of any of this until now. Kyle, Steele, Seth, they were all related.

"I put on this...kind woman act so that Seth would never have to follow the path I had in my life...but I never could have seen he'd have his father's ingenuity...both of you do...I know you must hate me for what I've put you through Kyle...no one should ever have had to go through that alone...but Balius, that bastard, told me he killed you...and like an idiot I believed him." She gathered herself one last time and took a deep breathe.
"Seth I'm sorry but I never really liked your step-dad." she admits.
"What!?" Seth exclaims.
"He was really fond of you and he taught you lots of things, i just couldn't make you lose that. Sorry."

She looked at Kyle again, "I'm so sorry...i understand if you never want to see me again..but I just wanted you to know the truth."

[Kyle Black-Sky]

His fists clenched in a tight ball, he contained how angry and upset he was. Kyle accidently transformed into his wolf form, unable to speak or anything. Before he lost it, he managed to run off into the woods. He didnt mean to bail out, but he had no choice. Seth was his brother, Seth's mother was kyles mother.... and Steeles.

He was abandoned. With nothing- and now this. the truth. After so many years, this was almost impossible to take. Its hard to imagine how seth must feel right now.

[Ranulf]

Ranulf had been walking back towards the Kraven camp disappointed after having no luck hunting again. Things were getting bad, all the game had been disappearing for some odd reason and at this rate the pack was going to starve. Ranulf (human) stopped in a clearing of the forest and looked up at the sky, "Ugh, how could this day become any worse?" Not a second later he gets hit viciously by what felt like a massive boulder. He tumbles to the side and slides across the ground...
He groans, "I stand corrected." He picks his hat up off the ground and dusts himself off. He turns and sees a gigantic wolf and he instantly knows who it was.
"Kyle!?" He exclaims surprised. He hadn't seen him for awhile.

[Kyle Black-Sky]

Picking himself up off the ground, kyle shakes it off. He had been running for so long, that he didnt even know how tired he was. Kyle couldnt help but tansform back... he was bruised, one of his ribs was still broken, and his face showed tear lines. To sum it all up, kyle looked terrible. "S-sorry ranulf..." he takes in a deep breathe, and winces.

[Ranulf]

Instantly a look of concern comes across the werewolf's face. Kyle, his best friend, looked sad and exhausted. There were fresh tear lines on his face as well as a look of immense pain. He was holding his side but it looked like something else was on his mind other than fatigue and pain.
"Kyle.." Ranulf says coming closer. "I've seen that look before." He shakes his head, "I've seen it way too many times.." He remembers vividly the look of depression, as if life was just collapsing in on itself. It was the look of Steele many of times, the look he himself had when he was younger, ...and now Kyle.
He come next to Kyle, obviously he was too tired and hurt to talk here, "Hey, look at me.." He says to get Kyle's attention. "You're exhausted.." He states. "Come on." he advises him to go with him. he said it in a way that didn't give kyle much a choice.

[Kyle Black-Sky]

He squints his eyes, vision blurring. 'did i use up that much energy...' kyle thought, as he stumbled a bit towards Ranulf. He couldnt look Ranulf in the eye, because it was so easy to tell something about someone by looking into their eyes.
"Fine.... lead on." kyle said silently, but loud enough for ranulf to hear.

[Ranulf]

After a few minutes of walking through the thick grass of the forest and tall trees, they finally reached the front of the Kraven camp where Leon was patiently waiting.
"Oh, Ranulf. Good to see you. I take it your journey didn't have much success." He waves. "I see you've brought a visitor."
"A pleasure to see you too, friend." Ranulf says. "You two have already met."
"Hm? I'm afraid I don't recall." Leon says.
"Yeah, it's when he was our prisoner and you were..." Ranulf points to the large cage that once held the two.
"Oh my..." Leon says completely embarassed. "Sorry about that."
"What news do you bring?" Ranulf asks.
"Oh, well I just heard back from Ralof and he told me to tell you that aid will be coming to the camp shortly..but.." Leon mutters.
"But what?" Ranulf asks.
"Oh nothing, just be sure to smile." He says nervously.
Ranulf looks confused but just shrugs.

Ranulf walks into the camp and heads towards the biggest tent. it used to be Balius's but it was long cleared out. The kids of the camp played with each other, some wandered around aimlessly.
"Who's that?" Razor asks.
"I don't know but he smells funny." Chase answers. Even though they all smelled like wet dog.

As soon as Ranulf was sure everyone was alone, he let Kyle relax for a moment and then he finally asked, "Something's eating you friend..." He handed Kyle a cup of water and he sat down on a box that was used to store materials. "And I can see your pain..please, tell me what's going on?" He was silent, he was aware that this could take awhile, Kyle wasn't the type to just open up to people.

[Kyle Black-Sky]

To be honest, the camp looked totally different to him now, and he didnt even recognize most of the werewolves living in it. Kyle took the cup, and took a sip. "Well, first of all, Seth is a jerk who decided to join a tournament as someone he wasnt, in order to get his mother out. but he transformed back in a panic, and i had to jump in there and bail him out because he had no clue what to do." he paused, taking another sip. The place really did smell of wet dog, but kyle knew he also must of smelled of wet dog.

"So seth transformed into a dragon, grabbing me as he carried..." he hesitated. "er... his mom- on his back. Seth got nervous when i told him i was going to transform into a human, then he accidently broke one or two of my ribs... He couldnt land while holding me, she i told him to drop me in a tree. Well, he missed the tree." He winced in pain, setting the cup down. kyle's vision was still a bit blurred, but he ignored it. "My whole life is a bloody lie, and Balius is STILL an ass. Cant say the same for the two most anoyying people i know though."

Kyle wasnt usually this blunt, and honest with people right away. But it was Ranulf, and he was tired. When your that stressed out, you gotta vent a bit.

[Ranulf]

Ranulf gave a empathetic look when Kyle told him Seth had completely missed the tree when landing, that meant Kyle fell from a great height straight to the ground. "Oou that's gotta hurt." Ranulf muttered, "Hold on I have something that'll help." It was times like these he missed his ability to preform restoration magic.
Man Kyle was a tough guy, broken ribs and he was dashing through the forest like it was nothing. He got up and searched around the box he had sat on, "I got this potion back when I lost my eye." He picked up a clear colored potion, "It should help with the pain...Sounds like you've had a hell of a day."

Ranulf handed Kyle the potion and sat back down on the box,

"Come on friend. Surely you're whole life isn't a lie. It's your birthday, what happened to the cheerful mood you were in at the bar this afternoon?" He asks. "I know your friend was a bit...drunk, but you shouldn't let that ruin your day." He was confused, "And what is this talk of Balius? He's long gone....Friend, what is really going on?"

[Kyle Black-Sky]

Kyle uncorked the potion bottle, and instantly got a whiff of what was inside. He made a disgusted face as he drank some of it. "Ugh.... what is this stuff...?" carefully, he put the cork back on the bottle, setting it down gently. " Long gone? I doubt it... and Seth really wasnt that drunk. If he wasnt drunk then, im sure he will be piss drunk next time we see him... You see, this stupid medalian-" kyle reached into his pocket, flashing it. "Is what happened. I never thought id meet the woman who abandoned me. Turns out i have brothers, too."

Kyle crossed his arms carefully, thinking. " My birthday never seems to go well for some reason... Ranulf, Steele's my brother. and so is the idiot, seth."

[Seth]

Ranulf stopped for a moment when Kyle finished his last sentence completely bewildered. "Uh, -i-it's a potion created by the Crux, potent, but the taste is uh...less than.." He couldn't even finish the sentence because he was so shocked. He raised his eyebrow looking at Kyle with his one eye, "My apologies, friend. That must have been rough for you...and your brother... but you must be mistaken. Steele never had any brothers or sisters. You and Seth, I can see the resemblance now. But...." He observes the medallion carefully but can't draw any conclusions.
"Rico never had family, he didn't even know his own father until he killed him and Balius only had one child." Ranulf states. "How could you possibly be related?" He asks curiously. He didn't mean to sound defensive and snarky, it was just out of curiosity.
"Furthermore, you said that you've met your mother? If what you say is true then...he'd want to know as well."
"Ranulf." One of the children outside calls. The boy slowly wanders into the tent, not too far behind is Olaf and Chase trying to hide and listen in.
"Yes? What is it?" Ranulf asks.
"Can we go hunting?" Razor asks nervously like any child would be when asking something from an authority figure.
Ranulf chuckled, "Hunting how? You don't change again for another month."
"Well we were hoping.." Razor looks back for support, Chase gestures for him to keep going. "uh, we were hoping that we could hunt with spears and stuff..."
Ranulf raises his eyebrow. "Do you have any of those things?" He asks.
"Well..no, but we can make one." Razor suggests. "And...uh..You can come with us so we don't get lost!" He blurts out.
Chase facepalms, that wasn't part of the plan.
Ranulf chuckles, "We'll see..."
Razor gives a nervous smile and then turns and quickly leaves the tent. One could hear arguing soon after.

Ranulf turns back to Kyle.
"You should see Rico...he's in blackgate prison across the lake..."

[Kyle Black-Sky]

" Belive me, i have no clue..." he said silently. As the young werewolves entered kyle smiled gently. They really looked up to Ranulf. When they left, kyle stood up.

"Thanks, ranulf. This is going to go terrible... Take care, friend. Oh, and by the way, i like what you've done with the place."

carefully, he made his way out of camp, and headed towards Steele... Once there, he paid the guards a bit of money to visit steele... the places was a mess, and kyle really didnt want to be there

[Steele]

As a guard escorted Kyle down the steep staircases of the prison to the lower levels the lighting seemed to get darker and darker with each flight, so much that the guard had to light a torch once there was hardly any light left.
"Now like I said before, no putting your hand in his mouth, no eye gouging, no excessive force. Now, he's in chains so feel free to whatever you want just don't go too far and put him in a near death state, if the queen sees him in the hospital they're gonna know somethings wrong and the jigs up. Also, he has the tendency to change frequently but don't be alarmed and start running for the hills. The chains will hold him in place so the bastard can't attack you so feel free to swing away. Fifteen minutes is all I can give you because I change shifts. We usually don't light this torch since all we do is throw food down here and forget about him, so if it goes out just light this." He hands Kyle a spare torch as they reach the bottom of the prison cave. "You can light the other torches in there to light the room."

"Other than that go nuts." The guard tosses Kyle the key to the door. It could unlock that part, but the chains that bounded Steele were entirely seperate.

The guard headed back up the stairs to let Kyle do whatever he wanted. It was a repeat business, people hated Steele so much that they would pay to bring as much pain as possible to him. "Fifteen minutes." The guard reminds Kyle from up the stiars while fiddiling with the large sack of coins he'd received from him.

[Kyle Black-Sky]

As pleasent as that sounded, kyle wasnt going to do that. maybe a good punch in the face if this go wrong. If those chains break, kyle is screwed. Setting the torch down, kyle unlocked the door, stepping in. Once he was an arms length away, he frowned. Steele looked terrible. Normally, that wouldnt bother kyle, but this time, it would. "Looks like youve seen better days, steele." Kyle actually sounded like he cared.

Sitting down against the wall of the cell, he sighed. "I bring news... and i dont know how your going to take it. I didnt take it well, believe me. So listen up..." kyle hesitated, biting his lip. "Your mother is alive... and you have family." he stopped there, thinking it would be best to just go slow for now. It looked as if the battered and bruised werewolf really needed a moment to think about that.
