Seth wandered around Avaleur Plaza. In the few months he'd been in Avaleur he'd never bothered to go into the Plaza for anything. His mom always told him to watch out for thieves and muggers, and store owners trying to cheat you out of a deal. He was astonished how many shops there were, both foreign and local. But looking around he wondered what to buy? Everything useful would be pointless if not hazardous if he shifted into something else. He would need something that could help him no matter what form he was in, like and armor. But where in Avaleur would he ever find an armor suited for shape shifters!?
After searching through several shops he decided to take a break. While he sat in the shade underneath a tree, he notice a boy.
What was his name? .... Hmmm.
He decided to walk over. He did know him, he was the boy that help save his life, but his name escaped him. As he was approaching him, Kavanah notice he was looking at armor that was probably 3 sizes too large "Hey there. What is a medic like you doing looking at heavy armor?"
"Hey your Kavanah." Seth was surprised to see him and as usual kept observing his wings. "Nice to see your not hit with another arrow." He joked. "I'm just trying to look for protection if I'm going to go out exploring the area's and gather some unsually rare things."
He chuckled to himself. The fact the the boy was so intrigued by his wings seemed weird to him, but that was probably because he was use to them. "Well that makes sense." he looked Seth over before asking, "So what is it that you want? Heavy and slow, light and quick or what?"
"Wow." Seth thought. He'd studied armors in school but never actually thought about what he wanted to buy. "Well first things first, I need to know what armor I can buy that changes with me. When I shift you know?"
"You are a shape shifter?!" Kavanah was astonished. "Well that makes the task much harder huh? Hmmmm...perhaps if you look at some of the enchanted armors."
Seth felt awkward. This was the first time anyone had actually thought being a shape shifter was a good thing. "Well yeah." He said. "Enchanted ones? Where can you find those?" He said looking around the plaza.
He hadn't thought of that.... Looking around he didn't see any either. "Well maybe we should go find some. Once I get a bow and some arrows, I'm going into the wilderness. You can join me if you'd like. Might end up finding something good for you!"
Seth frowned. "I wish it were that simple." He said. "The pack resides deep in the forest outside of the town. They're kind've....brutal. If they catch us trying to steal I gaurentee you we'll end up in the infirmary." He gulped. "But if we do get it, we'll be in for a nice paycheck."
"OF COURSE IT'S NOT!" Seth accidentally blurts out. "I mean, yeah let's just buy the bow, boy...how in the world am I going to get enchanted armor though?"
Kavanah looks behind him and becomes embarrassed, "it's right behind you, guess I should have looked around before I asked," He walks to the door and opens it for Seth.
