Welcome to Avaleur, a medieval fantasy roleplay site where anything is a possibility. Face bandits, or knights. Work your way up to become part of Avaleur's castle, or try your luck at being a thief. Own a shop, be a guild master, start a family. The possibilities are endless.
Arkelse wanders through the alleys carefully. He has his hammer drawn and his shield tucked in close. "I must find someone that knows something of my sister. Could that cursed man have been right, could she really have joined that retched dictator?" Arkelse mutters to himself under his breath.
Steele (werewolf form) watched from the dark corners of the alleyway. He'd never seen anyone like this in Avaleur. He had weapons armor and a shield that means he had to have had something valuable on him. Steele grinned at the opportunity. He leaps out from the darkness. "Long ways from home Bonny lad?" he says prowling on all fours. "What tis' it ye be doin' here hinny?"
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Arkelse spreads his wings in surprise, shocked by the threatening beast before him he replies,"I've come in search of some answers, you don't seem like the type to answer them though. Leave now and let me continue my business, I mean you no harm."
Steele smirked observing this angel. His equipment was some high quality stuff. "Aye we're all in search of answers here nd' there." He says prowling closer. "That's an interesting shield bonny lad, where'd ye get it?" He says curiously looking at it.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
"That is none of your concern werewolf, keep your eyes to your own belongings!" Arkelse snapped. "My sister is in trouble and all I get are thieves sniffing around my stuff." With that, Arkelse spread his wings and flew high into the air. "You've been no help whatsoever and I hope that you ind religion and leave this unhealthy lifestyle."
Steele cocked an eyebrow as Arkelese flew into the air. "Well how thee hell was I supposed ti be of help when ye wouldn't tell me a damn thing ye great nit!?" He growled looking down. That really just pissed him off.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Enoch comes out of the shadows right behind where Arkelse flew out from. "Some people right? What has happened to things now adays anyway?" he chuckles to himself. "If he was truely as religous as he seemed he should have given his stuff to us poor folk." he smiles at Steele.

"Thee nerve of that bastard'." Steele growled before turning to Enoch. "Thee religous nits' even thee angels, they're not fit fir' much that's fir sure." Steele had never thought about his money situation much after a brief moment of thinking, he was indeed poor. Steele relaxed a little but still kept his guard up, he didn't want to end up on the wrong side of a raid. "Si lad, what's yer nyame?"
The man walks down the alley. His medium lengthed brown and messy hair trudge behind him. His face looks tired as he just got done from a long days work. He carries a big sack with him on his back.
Steele leaps in front of his path and stands up. The man looks up at him in fear. Steele smirks. "Si what be in thee bag hinny?" He growls. The man upon hearing that begins to quickly run right in the direction of Enoch.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Enoch smiles, noticing that the man was foolish enough to run to him. He gets just about out of the mans way...except for his foot. The man trips and falls on the floor. Enoch grabs the bag with his claws and flings it toward Steele. "You worthless Avaleurian." he spits at the man.
Please don't hurt me! The man yelled. Steele rummaged through the bag. "Well look at tis'." Steele says pulling out two silver bars. "No please, that's my earnings for the year. I need that!" Steele smirked. "Nd' twat' would a twat like ye' be doin with a years earnin'?" Steele asked "I asked for it! I needed all the money soon to ration throughout the year. Please if you take that, you'll be killing me!" The man begged.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Enoch laughed historically. "Let me tell you a secret, we are taking it. And to save Father Time's time, I'll kill you now." Enoch drives his claws into the mans chest and drags him across the ground, leaving a trial of blood. The claws went through him and have hooked him in the back. Enoch drags him for about two blocks, he reaches the river and lefts him up. "I'm Enoch by the way, it truely was a pleasure." he kicks the man off his claws and the man flings into the water causing a large splash.
Steele watched as Enoch mercilessly killed the man. Steele frowned, a part of him hated seeing the man's life end like that, the other part of him was exhilarated by it. "Hinny have ye gone starcraving mad? Murderin' in cold blood? How could ye...jus...." Steele didn't know what to say. He was in mixed feelings.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Enoch turned to Steele, "Oh please, his life was worth next to nothing, a no good, worthless Avaleurian. Their kingdom destroyed and all that was to become of it was for it to be nothing but wilderness and wasteland and they have the nerve to defy what Paineston had decided. To try and start anew." Enoch's claws went back into the gauntlets, and he walked over to Steele. "You understand don't you?" he asks as he holds his hand out for his share in their loot.
Enoch's words were cold. This was business Steele would have nothing to do with had he not been chosen as a knight of Avaleur. "Now wait jus' a moment hinny, killin' a worthless civi' ti cover up yer crime is one thing, but wagin' war tis' a whole nother' story. These people, Paineston er Avaleur, may be moor' borin' than a gecko shedding its hide, but they din't deserve ti die jus' because another country says so." Steele tosses him a silver bar. "Hmmm but thin' again.." He ponders remembering why he'd resorted to raiding in the first place. "Maybe we could both benefit from it." He says looking at the shiny bar in his hand.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
