Ok so for all the other people who don't know me (meaning that admin and Namesiwa know me), Hello. My two cents (if it is even worth it) would probably be about some small things now, but could potentially be blown way out of proportion late dates (but in a good way).
First, from the small amount of time I have spent on this website I have noticed that for the people who do get themselves involved, they are loyally devoted to the world of Avaleur and its RP awesomeness. The point I am making obvious from this is that the group of devoted RP'ers is reasonably small. Advertising for all of this is simple in itself but like anything that is to be done, it requires people to do it and the time. If nobody is able to throw proper advertising ideas into the forums or if there is an idea and nobody can comply, that I am willing to put the effort in to raising the popularity so to speak.
Second, seeing on how expansive the website is and how many areas within the world have been created and roughly integrated, I thought it would be a great idea to try and get people put into the forums that are placement holders so to speak. Example of this, lets say the city of Hollow gets more traffic and people start RPing within the area a lot more. If stores become a thing (which is a side idea I will expand on a later point) or questing for more plotting ideas or guilds or whatever, that there are people who's accounts are solely linked to the shop or the job listings to properly regulate and govern the item listings or the parties for quests or whatever.
Third, and I believe lastly (unless during the typing of this I think of something or something from coversations between me and Namari IRL), the whole shop concept. Now, disregarding my lack of knowledge in the previous point, Namari brought to my attention how the shop systems work as of now. My idea was on a similar track to what is already coded but I believe I can still give some helpful ideas towards its improvement. Such as getting them more involved with RPers. Now I know that anybody can create a shop and host a selection of items for rpvrp interaction, but because most offered items are usually available in areas outside of the shops, then the shops (given consolation with Mods and admin) Items that are area specific but are shop only items that could in turn cost a pretty penny but be a tad bit more efficient than outdoor items. This would in turn drag players curiosity to in store items so they can see if there is a better item for them for whatever they are currently RPing. This would also give the chance for people to really start throwing around there money. The biggest thing for all of this to make note of is that if selling becomes an idea, or if store specific items can only be so good or go to certain people, that the store has to have regulators. This could involve the main store creator and or two other trusted RPers so that time is balanced over so that at any given time RPers can use the store. More discussion would have to be put into it because there are a ton of minor details that should be discussed in greater expansion, and even some that I myself probably haven't thought of.
Reading over all that I have just typed, I have realized that the third point is mostly a sub point to the second one so to specify and greater the understanding of both points without typing loads more. For all the places in Avaleur that have high traffic and are popular RP spots, loads of potential could be worked out if there were side story specific characters that are a constant until they either travel away or are killed as of RPing or whatever. The other note being that the money system needs more use besides the attempt of some RPers making their own shop. Let them keep their shops, localize them and have the stores stocked with "Approved" items based on area or event. On regard to the items at hand, if popularity builds, make class/race specific items or even quest/guild specific items.
The main over arcing idea of the later points I have made relates to getting devoted posters that would regulate and maintain specific events/places/stores/etc.
