Appearance: Though the blind Shapeshifter has mostly elven features in his origin form, Ralimis' stature is more comparable to a human's as he stands at 5'10". He garbs himself in clothes that are comfortable, but is sure that he looks appropriate by asking whatever seamstress or haberdasher he buys from. His coloration is reminiscent of wood elves, his skin nearly tan. His hair is brown, but it often changes saturation at random. His features, normally easy and kind, dawn sternness while concentrating on his magic and tend to cloud into sadness when the beauties of color are being told.
About: While innate abilities allow their appearance to change to however they see fit, some Shapeshifters such as Ralimis have no real trouble with their origin form. As a shapeshifter he has been taught to use visuals to his advantage more than anything. Being a blind shifter cuts into that ability. To pass such a hurdle, Ralimis uses "thought transfer" spells, though differently than would a normal mage - He uses them to "see". By using thought transfer, he looks through the eyes of his subject, whether that be enemy or friend. But through the eyes of others, he is only able to see achromatically (in black and white). During his artificial sight, it is rather hard to coordinate his own body, so to get around, he relies on his other senses (as well as a custom cane) to move around. He can often be found at the library reading the text through other's eyes. If he wishes to read a book of his choosing he is forced to struggle to keep a certain antsy squirrel still. His only other hobby is sitting near higher traffic areas like in a market, watching perspectives until he can no longer use his skills to see. His fascination with sight borders on obsession, as he has been known to use his magic to see through others eyes until his magic runs dry. Though his stamina is greater for it, he can run into situations where he needs his already strained magic. He hunts when necessary, Usually becoming a fox or wolf for easier hunts that provide food. Though he sometimes turns to stronger more ferocious creatures for a more literal version of "blind rage", He tries to stay out of more aggressive minded creatures in the fear of becoming aggressive and negligent.
Weaknesses/Fears: Other than an obvious weakness of vision? When Ralimis shifts, since he does not know colors, he can not control what color he becomes (a cyan fox, a green tiger), and only on the very rarest of occasions is it correct. Due to this, he can only fool the least intelligent of creatures in believing his authenticity of form. Also, if he cannot look into the mind of another during hunts or battles due to mind protection, and if he has no companion in which to see, he is rendered rather ineffective. Another reason for having his small companion.
Weapons/Magic: Ralimis carries around a collapsable blind-man's cane with the word "color" engraved in brail at the hilt. His magic centers around the more practical (though some may say obscure) arcane arts. He uses "thought transfer" and "detection" as well as "levitation" spells. He has a rather extensive magical stamina as he uses his thought transfer on his "Pet" as often as possible. He also hopes to learn light magic at some point.

Until the age that he could properly cast magic, Ralimis went on as a blind shapeshifter. He was poorly accepted as a shifter, but through touch he was able to shift his form, even if he was never the correct color. He got by with only his senses and simple detection spells at first, but soon came to learn thought transfer. At his first image, he was astounded by sight, and as such, sees everything as beautiful in it's own special way. Ralimis left his group in order to more quickly learn of a magic that could help him see color. All the better if it could be from his own eyes.
Pets: Many have noticed something of a familiar that always scuttles around in whatever area Ralimis may be in. It is quite simple find the eyes. They are sometimes watching from a distance but just as often appear from just within Ralimis' clothing. But what many do not know is the little fellow that acts as a mini shadow is not Ralimis' demon familiar. It is actually a common squirrel... One he named Aelareith - Aela for short. The small, golden-brown creature was wild before meeting him. She is a rather unwavering ally, and follows Ralimis on something bordering possession, always watching whomever comes in contact with him. He has decided to let this follower continue as he uses her mobility for strategic purposes, watching from angles yet unknown to enemies.
