He furrowed his eyebrows, and looked past Veranda- he could not see them yet, but the sound of frantic woman voices could be heard, and it was getting louder. With pursed lips he looked at Veranda and nodded.
"Yeah, just a window. It's closed, but pretty easy to open. Break it if you must. It's in the storage room, just follow that open doorway," he pointed to the opening, before turning back and nodding.
"They might stick around for tomorrow, though. If they're still here tomorrow, might you have a friend that can pick the blades up? Or might I meet you somewhere?"
He didn't want the woman not to get her blades on time- a quick backup plan was needed, if she wanted them right away. Jordan had to admit to himself that he was disappointed. Having to come up with a quick coverup story, while a nice- partially nice- woman threw herself out of his window.

Veranda peered into the open doorway. A window. She slipped through smaller spaces than that. Good thing she was incredibly flexible. She hoped she wouldn’t have to break it. It’d seem wrong to break this man’s window after their fun little chat. She paused when Jordan mentioned that the guards might hang around to catch her. Something she hardly considered. She mused over the choices a moment. Coriander would never get her blades, nor would she ever ask him. Besides, he would stick out like a sore thumb, with his tall, pale self and creepy eyes. The guards would do something dumb and get killed or locked in a terrible illusion.
Julian would if she asked, but she didn’t know if she wanted Julian seeing this pretty faced shopkeeper and getting some ideas…getting jealous. She wasn’t sure if he would honestly, meeting a pretty face like this. Veranda might have if their places were reversed, but she was also going through a lot currently, like attempting to tame her emotions if Cori couldn’t teach her to purge them. Maybe she wouldn’t. Either way she wanted Jordan to herself.
“Let’s meet up somewhere. How about tomorrow night in the woods? Hm? Unless you’re too afraid to step into my domain.” She said, flashing him a smile as she walked to the doorway. She was curious what he would say. Perhaps he’d risk it? If not she could meet him elsewhere inside the city. Anywhere but the pub of course, but hopefully he wouldn’t pick such a place should the woods be too much for him.

He raised both of his eyebrows, a smirk escaping from his lips. The woods, huh?
The man leaned forward, and spoke more in a louder mumble as the voices grew closer. "I think you forget, miss, that as a hunter, the woods are my domain as well. I'll see you then, if not tomorrow morning."
He could easily get by, he hoped. After all, he trekked through the woods to get home every morning. He was bound to be able to meet her there.
"You best be off, I'll think of something to make them stay off that path. Be careful now; It'd be rude not to be able to give you your daggers now that you've already payed me," the elemental smiled, a laugh trying to escape from his throat. But he held it back.
He had never been in any trouble with the law. Jordan hoped not to start then.

Veranda laughed as Jordan pointed out the woods were as much his domain as they were hers. Well that was good. She’d prefer not to stray so far tomorrow anyways. Once the boys back home caught wind of her little visit and stunt they’d probably ground her or something. She’d enjoy this little trip for all it was worth.
“Don’t worry. I’m a vampire remember? Disappearing is what I do best.” She said, winking at him before she strode through the doorway and to the window she was to escape from. After a second of messing with it she managed to open the window without breaking it. She looked around outside, slipping one pale leg through the window, then another. She turned back to peer at Jordan a moment, her eyes nearly glowing.
“See you tomorrow.” She said, before shutting the window. With that done she stopped being playful with human limitations and she turned and seemed to vanish, running at top speed out the back of the alley and off towards home, just as the women and the guards entered Jordan’s shop. She hoped he wouldn’t get into too much trouble, but she laid a pretty good alibi for him. Hopefully he was smooth enough to ride with it.
