How Ralimis loved walking into a new city's library. Books all around, new lore to be read and explored; it is the information main-street of the intellectual world. And of course, the uncomfortable ramblings of the librarians, trying to tiptoe around their idea that where he was "is probably not the place you were looking for," was always enough to get him to go.
Ralimis continued inward as the librarian continued nervously. "I'm sure I can find an escort service to help you."
He was making it too easy. "Yes, I'm sure an 'escort' would be fantastic," He said flatly, and withholding his inward smile continued, "but I'm not looking for loose women at the moment." He imagined the man wide eyed and with a slightly darker shade as he fumbled his words, trying to amend his statement. Ralimis' humor was sated though and as such he turned to the man and put up his hand.
"Please, I must ask you to stop your rambling, this is a library after all" (Maybe he wasn't fully sated). He continued, "I assure you, I am where I intend to be. That being said, you have a section for magic, yes? I would be grateful if you could tell me where to find it."
"W-We have a small braille section near th-" The librarian was quickly cut off by Ralimis.
"I did not ask for your braille section though. I asked for your magic lore." Instead of sounding angry or irritated, he made it as though he were correcting a mistake. There was no need to be mad, especially so soon after using the man for a laugh. He simply wanted what he came for now.
The librarian sighed and submitted. "Y-yes, of course. Go strait from here and take the second left." He sounded as though he had enough of this crazy elf, but, to his merit, continued anyway. "I don't suppose you need assistance while you are here?"
The blind shifter smiled "Thank you for your help, and no, I don't suppose I will."
Ralimis walked strait and took the second left. He was ready to start his search... only to feel the animal in his clothes run to the floor. Great time to play run from Ralimis, Aela...
"Now? Aela, you're supposed to be my eyes!"
