The sun had only just begun set as it lit the sky and clouds aflame with colours of orange and purple. Nate pulled Tarian's reins gently and the large horse came to a stop in front of the infirmary. It was a nice building, even if it was one of the less desirable locations in a city. He'd heard about how hectic they could be in larger cities, but such danger was only present when there was some sort of disease going about. Having not heard of any such diseases being in circulation, he was able to visit the building with some peace of mind. After dismounting Tarian and tying his reins to one of the posts, he hastily dug around in the saddle.
Nate had dropped Analisia off and helped her into the infirmary earlier in the day after the two arrived back in the city. He wouldn't of been much help in aiding the doctors in their work, so he had went off to find the hunter's circle. After telling them of the millepede's defeat and showing them his proof, he headed off with a few bags of coin, which he retrieved from the saddle.
He headed off into the infirmary and, after receiving a bit of direction from one of the doctor's assistants, made his way to where Analisia was. "Hey, I'm back!"
(The money from the hunter's circle is actually just what we got from posting in the thread. I just felt like explaining where it came from somehow.)

Gritting her teeth to keep from growling or snapping at one of the doctors and assistants; Analisia had just a sliver of self control left. They did their best to push her rib back into place, the wrapped it as tightly as they could. She apparently had fractured one other rib, and bruised two others. Her shirt was discarded on the floor, it having been deemed that attending to her ribs was far more important than modesty. That had almost been the last straw for Analisia. If the doctors pushed her any further, they would be facing a rather angry wolf on their hands versus a surly woman.
Having been left in the infirmary while Nate took care of reporting in, she had had no idea that there was someone to report to, she was now thoroughly exhausted. The ride into the city had taken a day longer than she expected. If she couldn't shake off these doctors by the end of the day, she wouldn't have any time left to make it out far enough away from the city to not cause any damage. She couldn't dwell on this any longer, as the doctor pushed the last of the air out of her lungs with a final wrapping of cloth bandage.
Gasping, Analisia turned her head to snap at the doctor, "Be careful, my rib is broken apart enough. I don't need you fracturing more of them trying to fix it you imbecile." She growls throatily. Then flicks her gaze over as Nate makes his entrance. Not making any move to cover what could be seen of her body from the back, which wasn't much considering there was bandages covering her chest from the beginning of her ribs, to just beneath her arms. "Hello again, how did it go at the hunter's circle?"
Only just before entering did Nate hear her short outburst at the doctor, forcing him to muffle his laughter as he walked in and made his presence known. He grabbed a stool while making his way to the bedside. As he glanced over Analisia, and rather quickly to try and avoid the possibility of his gaze being seen, he was silently thankful that he had entered after they had finished bandaging her torso. There were quite a few situations that Nate didn't know how to handle himself in, and that would have made the top of the list.
His attention snapped up to Analisia's face as she returned his greeting. "Er.. Oh, right! It went well!" he said as he raised up the small pouch, the contents rattling as he moved. "They were grateful that we helped out, and even gave us a bit of a reward for it too! This bit's for you." A wide grin had taken up residence on his face at the mention of the reward. He moved to set the pouch down next to her on the bed and set the stool down after, then followed and sat down.
"Sorry I didn't stick around right after. I figured I'd only get in the way, since I don't really know much about fixing ribs... How're you feeling now?" he said, even though he had a good idea of what her answer would be judging by what he'd walked in on just a moment earlier.

Turning her gaze back to the doctor, she let loose a throaty growl. "Are you quite done yet?"
As the doctor nods and makes his excuses to leave, Analisia turns back to Nate. Smiling as he places a small bag of reward money. "Well that was kind of them. Seems like the fight was worth it after all." Grabbing the bad, she runs her fingers through the coins inside. Her smile widening. Setting it down, she moves toward the edge of the bed. "It is alright, one more person in the room would have made it crowded anyways. "
She laughs softly before answering his question. "I feel like I want to tear the doctors throat out to be honest. That bastard wrapped and rewrapped me twice. Said he couldn't get the pressure just right. Honestly I think he was trying to teach me a lesson about being a woman who goes out adventuring with the menfolk. He gave me enough hints to leave little doubt in my mind about it." She snorts derisively. Her face hardening a moment. Then smiles once more. "But I will feel much better after they allow me to leave this room. Apparently they wish me to stay here a few more hours to make sure that I don't need to be medicated or put on bed rest for the next week."
Nate watched the doctor leave after finishing with whatever treatment he had inflicted upon Analisia, and stifled his laughter while dropping his head slightly as she growled her words at him.
"Hah, yeah. Almost makes it worth doing it again." he said, though he took a short moment of pause afterward. "Almost..." he reiterated once. He couldn't have stressed the emphasis on almost enough, as he definitely wouldn't be doing another hunt like that anytime soon. Not willingly or as a result of his choice, anyways.
"Ah well, at least he fixed you up. I'm sure he was just trying to make sure you would heal up right. He doesn't have much say in what you do, doesn't much matter what he thinks. After all, I'm not sure that even he would have the stomach to fight a giant bug, unlike you." he said, returning the smile that she had given following her pained expression.
"Hopefully they'll let you go soon. I'd hate to he trapped in a building like this all day, 'specially in a big city. A few more hours isn't too bad at least, I wouldn't want to get stuck here for another week..." Nate said as he slowly reclined in the stool, though he quickly realized that there was no support for his back and stopped himself before leaning too far. "But that does make me wonder... where do we go from here? Me 'n you, I mean."

Analisia shrugs just slightly enough not to hurt herself again. She was going to need a few more days to heal definitely. If not a few weeks. But then again, she didn't have a few weeks. And as if he could read her mind, Nate mentioned it.
"Well I am not really sure. I have some business to do in the forest in a couple days from now. But that will only take about a week at most. Then I am returning to the city. Unfortunately I can't really take anyone out there with me, so maybe we could stay as companions until then. Though I am not really certain as to what we might do in the mean time." She furrows her brows for a moment. Then smiles suddenly. "We could always spend our well-earned reward money? Between ale, gambling, and whatever manner of shops they may have in this city, we should have no issues lightening this load a bit."
She grabs her bag of reward money and jiggles it a bit.
Then gently hops down and slowly leans over to grab her shirt, throwing it on and tying it tightly. Then reaching up to pull her wavy hair from it's braid. Taking the leather strip that held it together and tying it about her right wrist. Analisia then moves to the corner of the room, grabbing her belt with the dagger sheathes and deftly putting it on.
Nate's eyebrow raised from both confusion and interest as she mentioned heading off into the forest in a short while. "You're going to the forest by yourself? You sure that's a good idea, considering your injuries?" he asked, his tone seeming to imply some level of concern. Nate shrugged it off as her decision, yet he couldn't feel a little strange about it.
"I guess since it's something you gotta do there would be no worth in me asking about it." he said, having noticed her smile brought on a small smile of his own. Following Analisia, he raised off the stool and stood, stretching his arms while he waited for her to gather her belongings. "Booze, gambling, and spending all my money?" he said as a wide smile grew upon his face.
"Sounds like a date."
(Sorry bout the ridiculously slow/short reply, I just got home from work and I'm a bit tired.)

"I go into the forests by myself often. I have yet to find any danger that I couldn't deal with."She tries to assuage his concern. She didn't want him to follow her, only to be injured when she went feral. She felt unsure about his expressed concerns, not sure how to deal with them. She had never had to deal with concern, not since she had left behind her home. Analisia wondered why he was concerned about her safety, other than having been traveling companions.
Analisia ties the bag of money onto her belt. Then looks back at Nate, watching his smile grow, matching it with one of her own. "Then let us be off! I couldn't stand another minute in this infirmary bed. Oh, and I think not letting the good doctor know I am leaving earlier than he planned might be the best course of action."
She chuckles, finally ready to leave. "Shall we be off Nate?" She says with a sweep of her arm towards the door, her eyes glinting with amusement and excitement.
Nate offered her a faint smile and slightly narrowed eyes, though more to further express the smile's effect on his face than to suggest suspicion. Her attempts at relieving him of his worry were fruitless, but they were noticed and appreciated. "Well, if you think that you're capable of it, then I don't have much of a choice than to believe you, huh?" he said while sliding the stool against the nearest wall he could find with his foot. "I'm more than sure you can handle anything that you'll encounter, if the past has been of any foresight." he said, though his words felt more like he was reassuring himself.
He watched her tie the bag of coin to her belt, then met her gaze again before shifting it toward the door rather hastily. "He'd put up a fuss about it, probably. Best we hurry out while he has his hands full." Nate said, his attention shifting right back to her as she swept her arm toward the door. "Aye, let's be off to a binge we'll surely regret in the morning!" he couldn't help but release a hearty laugh at his own statement. The idea of indulging in a fine helping of ale, gambling, and money not so well spent filled him with a bit of eagerness.
(OOC// Sorry again for the late reply. I figure that before it happens again I'll let you know why it's taking so long. The store I work at it really undermanned at the moment, so my manager and I are pulling long shifts, and I just got finished with something like a seven or eight day straight work week. It'll even out after Christmas probably, but I can't really say for certain if I'll be able to post regularly until then. Again, I'm reaaally sorry for taking this long.)
