*Appearance: Generally wearing the outfit in the picture above but he is usually concealed by a large black hooded cloak wrapped around him. A red mark underneath his left eye shows his demonic lineage and that he is a bastard child.
*About: Merlin is a rather large womanizer and is very flirtatious to all those around him that are female constantly stealing undergarments. He also shows to be a very big prankster and goes out of his way to play jokes on others and having fun.
Though this is all an act and Merlin has a very dark outlook on life. He doesn't believe in heroes or good in the world, he hats most other species or people believing humanity to be the worst of all the races.
*Weaknesses/Fears: Anything Holy causes him some a lot of pain because of his demonic half.
Weapons/Magic: Merlin carries the typical oaken wizard staff and a steel longsword.
Spells: Elemental:
Arc Bolt- Channels the magical energies through his body and points his pointer and middle fingers at his target firing a steady stream of electrical energy at his enemies.
It can also be used as a fortifying spell to give him or an ally in direct physical contact boosts of energy when he runs low on stamina and give his physical strikes a more tuned kick.
Incantation: I who stand in the full light of the heavens command thee, open the gates of hell! Come forth purifying lighting!
Oh darkened storm cloud unleash thy blade and raise us up and our run our enemies through!
Arc Flame- Channels the mystical powers of flame into the physical world and thrusts his staff forward sending a stream or multiple fireballs at his targets.
A variation in the spell will give him the ability to stay warm and keep others warm in any tempature specifically the cold, must be close to him to benefit from the warmth. Also allows him to turn innominate objects into an explosive.
Incantation: Oh flames of hell cremate my enemies in a cage of fire! Bring all to Ash and Ruin!
Oh flames of hell grant us the boon of the lord of fire!
Arc Wind- brings forth the mystical powers of air to his command, this allows him to give out bursts of wind to repel his targets or give him a launch in any direction.
Variation in the spell allows him to boost his speed greatly and manipulating the element of wind around his body to allow him to take flight or hover.
Incantation: My body is the wind, watch as I soar with blurred grace!
Oh Queen of the air lift us up in our hour of need, grant me thy celestial wings!
Arc Stone- molds the mystical powers of earth at his command, he can create stone walls to defend himself from attacks.
Variation in the spell incantation gives him the ability to boost his or others physical strength or cover one or himself in stone armor to increase their defense. Gives him the ability to also sense nearby earth bound creatures in contact with stones in some way.
Incantation: Oh roar of the earth bring down the fangs of the mighty dragon!
Great king who supports the most distant of lands receive us now in our time of need and grant us thy boon!
History:
Merlin was born as a bastard child of a rape victim, this earned him scorn from his entire family including his own mother whom eventually comitted suicide because of the circumstances of his birth. Young enough to not fully understand but old enough to remember the sight of his dead mother, having no one else to take him Merlin ran into the forest to survive on his own. This only started his path to hating everyone since anyone he ran across shooed him away for his bloodline and was alienated by his his parentage so he spent his time in the forests scavenging to survive. It was there he met a blind woman hermit who took the young boy in without hesitation.
It was thanks to Vivien that he learned his unnatural talent to pick up magic with ease and because of her he learned how to hone it to a fine weapon. Merlin grew up from there practicing his magic and unleashing his inner wiggles upon the young teenage women of the nearby villages and being scolded by his step mother, this went on for quite a while until his 19th birthday when Vivien told him that their time together had to end and that Merlin had to pursue his destiny as being one of the greatest sorcerers of all time.
Merlin begrudgingly agreed and went off into the world leaving a trail of womanizing and pranks in his wake until he finally came across a strange kingdom. Now he procedes to find his own fun and path in these stone walls.
