Rio walked through the alleyways. They were dark and creepy. People of rough physical characteristics walked by, many with their heads down, walking fastly. Nobody wanted to be in the area at the wrong time. It was almost funny how even the bravest of men would turn into weepy children by the atmosphere alone. It must have been that massacre thing. But why, even after finding the vampire girl to be innocent and misunderstood, are they still afraid?
That was not all though. Just recently Avaleurs boom in the crime department was scaring many. The city alleys were crawling with crooks, and it did not scare Rio. It intrigued her. She explored the alleys, not hoping to run into crime, but rather to witness it.

Walter sat leaning up against a wall, watching the people pass by with interest. Being a demon, he had nothing to fear here and kept his head held high. Someone caught him staring, and went wide-eyed, walking quickly past him. He chuckled.
But looking around, he spotted a young girl walking through the alley. Like him, her head was held high, and hey eyes were full of thought and interest towards this place. Walter stared, still posesing that awcuard habit of staring at people he found interesting.
"That's exactly why I'm here." Rio said, looking around. "It's all very interesting, I've never gotten to see a place like it before. It wouldn't be as interesting during the day."
Rio laughed. "I'm not a satanist or anything but being surrounded by wholesome, beautiful perfection is so boring. I love to see people out here who have nothing left, so they destroy each other instead."
All of a sudden, the sound of a fight breaking out between two drunken men could be heard. Rio turned around. "Oh! Looks like something's finally happening!"
