Hello Everyone (or Anyone?),
It’s been a long time. Looking back at how far we have come both amazes and humbles. From where we first started, to moving to a new site location, to finally ending ‘Avaleur City’ and moving to another fantasy realm. So, why post on this site that has become a graveyard of sorts? Well, Kellen and I wanted to let you know that the first book of the series we talked long ago about putting together is finally here. We did it!
As it has been a while, years even, we wanted to post here for a couple reasons. One, to let you know it is finally done, and two, to remind everyone what the book is and isn’t. The book Kellen and I put together does use the title of Avaleur in its world and pieces of its basic setting have also inspired the book’s setting in order to pay homage to the site’s creator Jessica (with her permission of course), but the world of Eldaria (the world in our books) is itself separate. We did this because without Jessica, we would not have developed our love for our characters and been inspired to go after such a grand endeavor as writing a book. So, thank you Jessica. The book does not, however, use any characters except for those Kellen and I created, as well as a few of Jessica’s that were adapted/inspired into the book for further homage (again with her permission of course). It also only uses places and a unique world map created by Kellen and I (with the note on Avaleur’s location name above). With great care, we ensured that our story did not claim any of the characters or stories that we did not create ourselves.
So, though it may be years again before some (or any) of you sees this post, we hope you are well, and we hope you’ll read the books and enjoy them. It still amazes me that we finally did it.
