Enoch liked her, and he didn't want to lie to her. He played with his soup before he mustered the courage to speak. "Stacy, I know I am not a 'good' person." he stops for a second, "But alot of it isn't my fault, they are orders sent from higher up. And. And I guess that has sort of rubbed of on me." he sighed, "I am a monster," he chuckles, "I mean I practically befriended a demon the other day."
He looked down, he couldn't look her in the eyes. 'why do I feel this way?' he said to himself.
Staring at the mans face for a bit, Stacy smiled gently, "If you were really a monster, or a bad person, you would have kicked me out of your tent. You wouldnt have made conversation with me, or been nice to me. You wouldnt have worried about me being ill, or made me food."
"And don't worry, I'm friends with a demon too!" she grinned. "I don't really care what your job is, as long as I never have to deal with it. So, don't look like that, okay?"
Enoch couldn't help but smile, and blush, Stacy just made him feel much better.
He lifted his head and looked her in the eyes, "You will never have to deal with my work." he said, "Even if I have to disobey direct orders from Winston himself." he smiles at Stacy. "Thanks, you know most people would hate me once they knew all this stuff." he laughed.
"Well I'm not most people; I'm Stacy Thompson, the most epic adventurer in the world!" she threw a fist in the air, and grinned. Stacy giggled, placing her hand back onto the table. "In all honesty though, I look at the good qualities in people, and ignore the bad. So I could never hate you. Unless you broke my trust of course, but rarely have I seen anyone do that!"
"Oh, I doubt you will. You've told me things I don't think you would've told most, so that makes me happy! Clearly you wont break my trust!" she nodded.
"That is true, in fact I've told you stuff that no one knows." he said to Stacy. His soup was about gone now. "How far off do you live from here?" he asked.
Enoch took a quick peek outside the tent. "It is getting quite dark," he started, "If you wish I cam walk you home. Or you can stay here, however a beautiful girl in a camp of crooks might not be that great of an idea." he says to Stacy.
Enoch would like company, and he did like Stacy. "Well I do suppose the worst thing would be to try and make it back to Avaleur in the dark. Going through it at night is quite dangerous." he said.
Even though he could have protected them, he wanted to spend mire time with her.
Enoch nodded, "Ok! I'll make a bed for you." he searches around the tent trying to act like he knows what he is doing. 'Ah! Where is anything in here!?' he thought to himself. After a while he gave up.
"You can just sleep in that bed," he pointed to the bed that was already in the tent. "I normally sleep on the ground anyway." he told her.
