The last time Namari had come to the church, she had prayed for all of her friends to be okay. Now, when she came back, her prayers were clearly wasted. One of them dead, and one of them severely injured. A waste of a good prayer.
Namari sat at the back of the church on one of the wooden benches. She stared at the woman in the front's statue, a pure blank stare. A god who does nothing for us. Namari thought, staring at Almora's statue. She crossed her arms, sitting up straight. Her eyes were slightly red and puffy, and a small cut had formed on her lip from where she had been biting. This seemed like the only place she could go. Anywhere else would remind her too much of them.
Even though she did not want to be there, she sat watching the statue, praying at least Steele would be okay. Sadly enough, she believed her prayer would not be answered. And therefore, did not know if he would live or die. Namari shut her eyes, feeling emotions between sadness and anger.
Lord Dosise walked into the quiet church. He had been praying a lot lately, mostly for Stacy. He still hadn't gotten much sleep and the church was the only place he felt at ease, other than when he was with Stacy.
Phillis was now king and he wondered if he would still want him to protect him. After all he was his own king he could order him away. He would probably ask him later but not now. Now he wanted to to just let his mind be rejuvenated.
Dosise looked up toward the great statue and noticed a woman, it was Namari, or this woman fit the description of her anyway. He noticed that Namari had looked back at him for a quick second. At first he thought he should just leave her be, but then again, why not see what was bothering her.
He frowned and nodded understanding. This was probably Namari, it would explain her red eyes possibly from grieving. "I'm sorry to hear, although glad you were honest. Are you Namari by chance?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Alright, then, I suppose...hey, I remember you, you fought...Steele...in the first round of the tournament. Are you new to town?"

"Welcome to town then. I'm quite suprised a person just arriving in Avaleur has heard of me, though. Well, it shouldnt suprise me, even when I wasnt a knight people knew me." She shrugged, sitting up. "So what are you doing here?" Namari jestured around the church.
"Well I am here for business actually, although I am not certain how much longer my tasks will be need. Sadly the details of my work must remain secret." he began thinking that she may have meant what he was doing in the church so he answered for that as well, "This church just seems to provide me with the rest and calmness of mind that I need every once in a while."

Namari nodded slowly. "You would have to be put up for nomination by a knight. The rest of the knights would vote on if you should become a knight or not." she said, scratching the back of her head. "Or, the king could put you in the knights. Both would work."

"That makes sense thank you." he looked around the church. The light that entered from the stained glass windows made the images and design on them magnificent. "Do you know all of the stories?" he asked Namari.
