You wouldn't dare. The mans voice spoke. For she is just a victim of sin, much like this town.
Rio raised an eyebrow. "Victim of sin? What does that have to do with anything?" She turned to Kavanah. "Are these spirits mentally challenged? They ain't making any sense."
"No they like to sound like gods and talk on riddles that's all. And yes I would dare.... She may have been a victim of sin but if you two aren't careful you'll be a victim of something much worse." he really wasn't good company when he got irritated. "You'll be a victim of Rio and Kavanah...." he became even more unease as the woman stayed behind him. He wouldn't be able to stay calm, if that's what he was, for very much longer.
"I'm sorry but I just said I don't trust you... I can't. I'll make my own light though." he forms a ball of energy in his right hand that lights up the cave. "If you truly do wish to help me than help us defeat him, if that's what we must do. Is that the game?"
"Prove to use we should trust your words, because Rio has a point and I will not bet with our lives. If needed I will destroy you," he shrugged, "Sorry, that's just how it has to go. If you can't prove it I must assume you are a spirit hell bent on tricking use into believe you wish to protect us."
Kavanah smiled. Given her tone and answer he was satisfied. "Alright, I trust you," he could always protect himself and Rio if she did turn false. "What do we do?"
I myself am not quite sure.. However, I do know we need to overpower him. Right now he is slowly building up energy from the life forces around him. I need you both to combine your powers and get rid of him as soon as possible. I have little life force, so I won't be much use here.
"How exactly do we combine powers?" Rio questioned.
"Sorry I don't mean to be rude, but how will you be of use then?" Kavanah truly was trying not to be rude, although it was impossible to not seem that way with that question.
I probably won't be.. I'm sorry. I will only be able to contribute a bit, since I am just spirit. But you two will head me from suffering for an eternity..
The more that Kavanah focused the farther he lost his concentration on making sure the woman wasn't tricking them. His arm glowed and sent a burning sensation threw his arm, it was bad yet do he figured he would let it go a little longer.
The woman raised her arms. Slowly, she was taking the energy from Kavanah and Rio in hopes that it would revive her. Of course, this wasn't possible but that was the trick. She tricked many people into giving her their energy just to make herself more powerful. The man was also part of the trick. It was just a big show to them both.
Finally the burning from kavanah's arm was to much, it sent a surge of pain through his body and sent him flying into the wall of the cave. He looked up to see a smirk which quickly faded from the woman.... Now He was pissed.
He decided not to show it and acted like he came back to the ritual. He knudged Rio as he walked past her.
