A Prayer for the dead

Isaac entered the church and started up the main floor and sat in the front row of benches. he put his hands together. "hey dad i hope your doing fine, I'm training a lot and getting stronger everyday, I've made a few friends already and i hope to make some more....." Isaac loses his train of thought and can't think anymore.

[Walter Grace]

Walter walked into the church, whistling. He had finally calmed down about Denzels death, and decided to relax for a bit before thinking of his plan. He spotted a new face, who seemed to be talking to himself. Walter soon realized the boy was praying, and walked up to him. Sitting down beside the new face, Walter smiled, "Hello!"

Isaac jumped "oh!... hello" Isaac said with a smile "you scared me i was praying and lost my train of thought so i was staring into nothing" Isaac was glad he had someone to talk to.

[Walter Grace]

"Ahh, don't worry about it!" Walter chuckled, brushing the hair out of his face. "I am Walter of Cresthunt. Are you new to town?"

"yes i am, my name is Isaac Djinn its a pleasure to meet you" Isaac started looking around at the pains on the windows "wow this place is beautiful" Isaac started smiling

[Walter Grace]

"I suppose it is. Though, a church is not my cup of tea," he smiled. "So what are you doing in Avaleur?"

Isaac's smile faded away "i came here to avenge my father and to become a more powerful scythe wielder" Isaac sighed "i believe that the war with Paineston 15 years ago is linked to the destruction of my town 10 years ago" Isaac became fidgety because he did not know how walter would respond

[Walter Grace]

"Oh? Really? Interesting..." Walter tapped his lips in thought. Then it hit him, and he grinned, "Wait, you wield a scythe as well? Interesting! Up until now I have had to teach myself to use a scythe. Do you think you could teach me a few tips? I hate to say it, but I'm not that good!"

"I would love to teach you but im also a beginner so there's not much i can teach but i will help you the best i can" Isaac happy that he met Walter forgot all about 10 years ago and was more focused on what was in front of him.

[Walter Grace]

Walter smiled, "Great! So, what does your scythe look like?"

"It's a big double ended scythe, which can separate in the middle to become two scythes" Isaac smiled "so what does yours look like?"

[Walter Grace]

"That's cool!" Walter grinned, and took out the metal rod from his belt. "Instead of telling you, I suppose I could just show you."

Walter created a cut on his finger with his dagger, and placed in onto the metal. It began glowing a dim red, and suddenly grew. It became a large, black scythe. Walter smiled, "It can only be activated by demon blood, if you were wondering why I had to cut myself to use it."

Isaac was amazed "that was amazing i can't believe there is a scythe like this" Isaac was staring at it "do you know how to use Wind Blade?"(kinda like you swing the scythe really fast and a blade of Air shoots out)

[Walter Grace]

"Yes, I just recently found that!" Walter nodded. "That's really the only special move I know, though."

Isaac scratched the back of his head "Actually same here" he let out a laugh "I've been working on one other move but every time i try, it seems to back fire"

[Walter Grace]

"Ohh? What move is that? How do you do it?" Walter leaned his scythe up against the bench, sitting down beside Isaac again.

"I don't have a name for it yet, but you spin your scythe in your hand and than chuck the scythe itself, and its suppose to go out than return but because my scythe is double ended it keeps coming back and stabbing me in the arm or leg" Isaac roles up his sleeve to show many cuts and gashes on his arm. "but your scythe is only one sided so i believe you could do it better than i could"

[Walter Grace]

"I'm sure you'll get it one day. I suppose all you need to work on is catching it in the middle, and avoiding the blade," Walter laughed. "I might be able to do it, probably. The move seems quite interesting!"

"ya i hope you learn to use it, because as scythe wielders we need to know magic for long range but because i don't know any destructive magic yet i need to learn this so that i may be useful in range aswell!"

[Walter Grace]

"Perfect for me, that's the only kind of magic that I know!" Walter smiled. "Are you under 20? If you are you can go to the school and learn magic I'm sure. Or I can teach you a thing or two."
