A Quiet Conversation

[Alex Magoro]

Alex sat against a shaded tree, a book on his lap and Nara, his cat, curled up beside him. He was still getting used to the city, and decided he needed some time to himself. After just a few minutes, Nara suddenly looked up, hissing at something in the trees.
"Who's there?" Alex called quietly, reaching for his dagger just in case.

Isaac looked down to see a boy and a cat sitting below him "my name is Isaac" he jumps out of the tree and landed in front of him "and who may i ask are you?" with a questioned look on his face

Alex looked slightly startled to see Isaac jump out of the tree, but quickly composed himself, standing up to face the stranger. "My name is Alex Magoro, I'm new to Avaleur. It's a pleasure to meet you." He said, bowing his head a bit.

"Your new? well isn't that a coincidence so am I" Isaac smiled "Since your here why don't we play a game!" Isaac got a little excited from saying this.

Alex thought about it for a moment. He wasn't really one for games, but he nodded and smiled anyways. "Sure, why not. What kind of game did you have in mind?"

"A simple game of hide and seek" Isaac smiled "you will hide and i will try to seek out were you are hiding, easy enough?"

[Alex Magoro]

"Ah, alright. Tell me when to go."
'I wonder how old he is...' Alex thought.

"ready?.....GO"

As soon as Isaac said go, Alex dashed silently through the forest, Nara trailing behind him. He looked behind trees and in bushes, looking for a good place to hide. Finally he found a relatively large hole behind an overgrown bush. He hopped in, covered himself in leaves, and waited patiently.

"47..48...49..50! Here i come" Isaac took off into the trees jumping from tree to tree looking for Alex.

Alex couldn't help but snicker quietly when he heard Isaac searching all around for him. He covered his mouth with his hand to stop any sound from coming out. Despite the childish nature of the game, he was actually enjoying himself.

Isaac heard something so he jumped to the ground beside a bush and started circling looking for the noise on which he heard but alas he could not find it.

Alex could see Isaac circling around his hiding spot, confusion clearly on his face. He silently snickered again, but this time a little noise came out. Alex froze, staring at Isaac intently through the leaves.
'I hope he didn't hear!' he thought.

Isaac straightened up a smile on his face, he looks around a little bit more and sees a hole "found you" as Isaac starts reaching for the hole all you can hear is a loud howl.Isaac stands up and looks behind him.

Alex, also hearing the howl, leaped out of the hole and crouched beside Isaac. He reached for his dagger, looking around for whatever had made the noise.

Isaac looked but saw nothing than out of nowhere a heard of wolves jumped out from behind some trees "stay sharp" Isaac said with a scowl 'they ruined my game' but Isaac noticed something, something that didn't feel right but he couldn't put his finger on it.

Alex nodded at Isaac, taking his dagger out of his pocket and drawing it from the sheath. "What's going on? Where did they come from?"

"i don't know what's going on but i need to get to my scythe"Isaac nudges Alex to retreat and follow him toward where they first met.

Alex nods and follows him through the forest, the wolves behind them.

they get to the tree where they first met and Isaac kicks the tree as hard as he can "....." all of a sudden a scythe falls out and he catches it and looks at the wolves "I am not vary fond of killing things but i guess we must" Isaac pre-pares himself and nods at Alex to do the same.
