Description: Balius is the Alpha of the Kraven werewolves who reside deep in the forest of Avaleur. He has yellow eyes and grey and white fur (though in moonlight it appears blue). He lost his left eye in the battle with Avaleur 15 years ago.
He has yellowish claws and black paws.
He stands (werewolf form) 7'5"
He has a very muscular physique and can lift 10x more than he weighs. He has scars across his body from many years of fighting.
He runs faster and longer than any other werewolf within the pack. He rarely shifts to his human form, even in the day time.
Though he seems like a complete hot-headed, wreckless, killer, he's a very skilled strategist and trap setter. Can predict the average persons move before they make it.
Personality: Balius is a rough and tough fighter with a very short temper. The only fondness he has in life, is training his pack to be merciless killing machines. In his mind, the weak die and the strong prosper, so he doesn't tolerate mistakes. He won't hesitate to destroy a whole town for an insult or kill off someones family because they owed him something.
Weapons: Uses his claws which can cut through almost anything. Also uses his sharp teeth.
Magic: Has no magic ability.
History: Balius was born in a werewolf pack in Kraven, a town approximately 20 miles from Paineston. His mother died giving birth to him and his father blamed him for it. From the start Balius was a powerful werewolf, he was able to do things the other members his age couldn't, but there was a darkness to him. An unnatural sadistic and chaotic nature. It was what made grow rapidly with power and what made him feared within the pack. His father neglected him throughout his childhood which only made Balius filled with hate. By the time he was 13 he was already the most powerful werewolf in the pack, a relentless killer. Simple raids turned into massacres and trips to towns always ended in disaster. More pack members feared him than the alpha, and he knew it. When Balius demanded that they break the treaty with Kraven and expand the pack (infecting people with the curse) the Alpha challenged him and quickly lost. Balius had become the pack Alpha at age 14.
The pack quickly began to expand throughout the Kraven city, so much that it became known for it's infestation of werewolves.
They remained self sufficient, practically taking over the town. The demeanor of the pack changed too, from a respectable group to barbaric thugs. Through his teenage years his lycan abilities matured and his bloodlust grew to the point where some called him more beast than man. Citizens looked to Paineston to help stop the wolves but King Von Christ had other ideas. When he was 21 he took part in the Avaleur battle as a general under King Von Christ, leading his pack to attack the kingdom along with the Paineston army. There he turned and forced Steele's future father into the pack. During battle, he suffered an injury across his left-eye and eventually lost his sight in it.
The Kraven werewolves became renowned for their atrocities across the city. When Steele was abandoned at age 3 Balius took him in as his own and raised him, harshly punishing him for mistakes and training him to shear exhaustion. The pack kept increasing in numbers through out the years again however when Balius was 35, a vast number of Vampires led a raid in Kraven and took over the town. Defeated, Balius and the remaining pack relocated to the Forest of Avaleur where they look to rebuild, and eventually, began taking over.
