Training in the Castle

Dosise walked onto the training field on the castle grounds, he got several weird looks. He wasn't exactly allowed here, but he was there anyway. He got right to it, after taking his cloak off he did his conditioning stationed workout he did every day. Then once he was dripping in sweet, he took out his sword and practiced on a dummy.

It had been a long session. He sat down next to his cloak and took a breather before he would start his next. The day wasn't hot by any means, but it wasn't cool either. The people there continued to give him looks of "Why are you here?" but he didn't mind that one bit. He wondered if Phillis ever came out of the caste to places like these.

Phillis was checking up on everything in the castle. He looked through the practice field, more people were beginning to use it now. That was a good sign.

He noticed Lord Dosise and waved politely as he approached him. "Hello." he greeted, nodding his head.

"Well, if it isn't the great Phillis. And with his memories back I assume?" he smiled and sjouke his head in disbelief, "I was just thinking about you actually. Funny how that worked out."

Phillis nodded, smiling. "Memories fully back. I haven't seen you in quite awhile, where did you run off to?"

"Well after talking with you I realized, it could be harmful to you if I talked with you and you weren't all there. So I stayed away. Made sure I didn't hurt you by trying to squeeze info into a injuries head." he sighed. "Do you remember that night now?" he asked.

"Unfortunately so." Phillis laughed. " Actually, Namari had a run-in with those same men just recently. It seems it will take quite a bit to get rid of them.."

"Well Phillis, you have become a threat to them. First we reveal them for their treachery. Then you become a king of your own nation." he laughed, "You managed to become quite the torn in their side and they won't have it...... Why was Namari brought into it?"

"Well, I asked her to deliver a letter to Winston for me and as she was leaving, my little sister tried to follow her and was attacked. Namari protected her." Phillis sighed. "I'm not sure why they'd try to attack a little girl though."

"Wait, you sent someone to Paineston?! Well that was your first mistake," he sighed, "When we first went it made any other attempts to make contact three times harder. They probably attacked so they could blame her death on Namari, then from her link it to Avaleur and even possibly to you. Are Namari and your sister ok?" he was baffled Phillis did something so risky. He was a little hurt he didn't even mention it to him. He shone it off, after all even though he saw Phillis as one of his only friends that didn't mean he felt the same way. His history wasn't exactly welcoming and trusting either.

"My sister is alright, but Namari lost an arm." Phillis sighed. " I know, it was a stupid move but we needed to get in contact with them somehow.."

"Your right, perhaps it was a neccisary risk. This unfortunately confirms my thoughts..... 'Paineston' is just a name, an illusion that hides what it truly is. Some scheme formed by someone or ones. I doubt Winston is part of it, perhaps he is trying to find out what it is and stop it." he sighed, "The food shortages must mean something, maybe something small. Have you heard about them? Have any knowledge on the situation?" he asked. "Oh and sorry if I didn't make a lot of sense I was thinking aloud."he explained.

Phillis chuckled. "It's quite alright. However, I'm sure my brother wouldn't be a part of something so terrible. As per food shortage, are you referring to Avaleur? Littlebay has been attempting to help us with that, but no such luck. I regret to say it only helps in the slightest."

"That's because only half of it reaches us. I have reason to believe that the carts are been ing raided on their way. Has anyone else mentioned that?" he asked before adding at the end, "I could be wrong it's just I could have sworn I heard it and during investigation, may have seen it."

"Honestly? I haven't heard a thing about it." Phillis said, confused. " Are you sure about it?"

He but his lip, "Let me search some more before I give you an answer, as of now... No, I don't have enough evidence to support it."

"Oh, I see. I will try to keep my ears open to the case. Please inform me right away if you learn more about it."

He nodded, "Of course. So how are you unknotting being 'back on top'?" he asked chuckling a little.

Phillis shrugged. "It's alright, I suppose." he said with a laugh. "It's interesting, at least."

"A little different then a kingdom that's already flourishing, maybe even at its peak. So how long is Cecilla (hope I spelled that right) going to be here. Assuming she hasn't already left that is."

"She told me she wants to stay awhile. I suppose I can't do much about that.. She always gets her way." Phillis chuckled. " I wouldn't mind if she stayed a long time though, I feel like she's safer here now."
