"She is safer. At least now she is. Staying in Paineston would have been safer, given the fact that her death would bring nothing. But now if you tried to take her back it would be impossible.... No I'll change that to nearly impossible." he tool a deep breath, the air was fresh and clean. It felt as though the intake of air helped cleanse his body and calm his muscles. "Are the people taking a liking to their new ruler?"

"New ruler?" Phillis raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by that?"

"You Phillis. You are the king, and you rule over Avaleur." he laughed perhaps he had mumbled his words or something to make it so he didn't understand.

Phillis laughed. "Oh, I thought we were still referring to Paineston. I don't think the people here much like me, but I think they are growing accustom to me."

"Sorry I do suppose I changed subject rather un-gracefully." he laughed, "oh I'm sure they will come around soon enough.
They will see how great you can be, just need something to overcome that's all."

Phillis nodded. " That's quite true. I just have to prove myself to them. It's taking a lot of work though, this town is a mess."

"No thanks to me....." he shrugged, "Can't do much about it now."

"There's nothing I can do about the past, that's true. But I can definitely fix the poor effect it's made on the present." Phillis sighed. " Well, how are the knights doing? Have you heard anything about them?"

"I..uh... Well, I'm not really sure. I'm still sort of deciding if that's for me or not. I thought I'd ask you again now that you have your head back, do you want me here?"

"Well, it's not really for me to decide. If you think it's the proper thing to do then stay here but if you plan to harm my town in any way then I would advise you to leave."

He smiled, now that was an answer of a king. "I think I'll stay for awhile then. At least until you have gotten the respect from the people. And I have to see that adorable sister of yours again. Definitely the best looking out of the siblings." he joked with Phillis. Honestly he showed respect to him as a king, but not as much as one would probably expect. It was just his nature not to.

Phillis laughed. " I agree with you, actually. She looks the most like my mother, for sure."

"Well Phillis I have to ask, wouldn't it be weird if you looked most like your mother." he said laughing a little.

"Yes, it would definitely be weird. I have her eyes, but that's about all." Phillis smiled. " Well, Anyways, I should be leaving now. It was nice talking with you."

"Oh yes don't let me hold you up on you errands, but be safe Phillis. If they attacked Cecilla in Avaleur forest, they may still be here. I would suggest getting a secret exit or haven if you don't already have one."
