Namari sat at the bar, drinking. Her armless sleeve hung down, giving the appearance of an arm, and with her hand she took sips out of her drink. She leaned back against the counter, looking around the bar. It was loud as usual, and the smell of alcohol filled the air. Some watched her from the corners of their eyes. This did not bug Namari in the slightest.
The woman sat looking out at the people of Avaleur, taking sips from her drink, and relaxing.
Scooter walked into the pub, he smiled and politely introduced himself to as many people as he could. Nobody particularly cared about talking to him, but he didn't mind!
Scooter sat on a seat beside Namari. The idea of alcohol didn't exactly peek his interests. He just ordered non-alcoholic drinks, and there wasn't much to choose from. Not that alcohol had any effect on him, of course. He noticed Namari and waved politely. "Hello, friend!" he exclaimed, smiling politely.

"Wow, nice!" Scooter smiled. " This is a pretty nice pub, actually. One of the cleaner ones I've seen. Mind you, the people are a little bit more hard of hearing, it seems. But that's alright!" he rambled on and on, finally taking a sip of his drink.

"You talk quite alot for someone who's only been here a few days," Namari chuckled, "Most of our newcomers are pretty quiet. Heck, I even met a boy who hasnt spoken a word yet!"
"Was that Jordan? He's my second friend that I made. I think it's okay that he doesn't talk at all, because then I don't feel as bad for talking too much. A lot of people get annoyed at me because I talk so much, but it's not like I don't let them talk or anything. I let people talk, I like hearing what they have to say too." Scooter said, taking another sip from his drink. " It doesn't bother you, does it?"
Scooter smiled. "Oh, that's good! Because I don't want to give off a bad impression here or anything, because, you see, I've been trying to make friends here because I've never had many before. I've already scared a lot of people off, and I don't mean to or anything." he laughed. " Well, then, about you, What happened to your arm?" he asked, pointing to it. "Were you born without it or lost it in an accident?"

Smirking, the woman asked, "If you got your arm chopped off, would you not be in pain? Yes, it was very painful. It doesnt hurt much anymore, more of a dulled down, numb pain."
"Oh, I guess you do have a point. Losing a limb would be very painful, I could only imagine. It's a good think that the pain has gone down though. I used to know a little boy with one arm, oh, but he was born without it. It was interesting because he grew up to be an amazing chef. Boy, did he move fast." Scooter laughed, remembering back. He had nearly forgotten. It was a little boy he had met years and years ago in a different country. He played around with his cup before taking a drink.
Scooter laughed. "Everyone does look very sad. I hope they become happy again. I recently found out that Avaleur has restored it's farming fields. I think people will become more happy after they have a steady system going!"
